I find contact coils easier to build and maintain Me too and having no problems with the 317L I obtained from Crazy wire last week. Very easy to work with. Have mostly just used the .5 stuff so far. Mostly micro coils on a 3.5 coil master jig with about 8 wraps.

I find contact coils easier to build and maintain Yep. I use a drill to make the coil so contact coils are super easy!

Anyone with a wismec reuleaux dna200 beware though. If charging through the USB there is a problem with 2 of mine. It knocks the TC control about. Briefly disconnect the one battery after charging then it resets

Ive changed my wire to Nife30 and the problems I was having with ss seem to have disappeared. After a few months using ss for TC I think I'm now not using it anymore as it just doesn't seem to be stable enough imo

Changing my mind again I'm not liking the crap that's coming off the Nife30. Shame as it vapes so well but.... Anyway I'm giving stealth vapes ss 316L a go for the next week. First impressions of the 24 gauge It's not as hard as other ss I've used but feels nice to use. It seems to like high temperature on my DNA200. 3mm ID 8 wraps spaced dual coils in a griffin at 0.18ohm 100w preheat 55w and 520f right now. Seems good so far but it's the first hour Could this be my perfik vape
