As many may know here, I'm not an avid footie fan, but Chelsea sack their most successful manager (and I'm not a fan of his), in due deference to the prima donna players who have basically 'given up & just take the pay', and stick two fingers up to the fans who pay them. Then, in the same day, Russian President, Putin, gladhands Donald Trump. That is a match made in heaven... but please, please... not here on Earth, we would actually like to live our lives in peace... not in ridiculous 'tub-thumping'... and 'my gun is bigger than your gun'. Let's test it while I go to my underground bunker.. and sod the population. Happy Christmas everyone. to bring you down... and I'm sure it will all pass. Just please give us some world leaders that actually care about the masses and not just themselves.

He should count himself lucky, he has a Russian boss, typically "sacking" translates into "disappearing" Bet yer he keeps his mouth shut.....!

I've been expecting a thread from you on the topic Raffles . It's just my opinion as a casual football watcher, but I think Jose Mourinho has been the architect of his own demise on this occasion . . . . and I was a fan of his, rather enjoyed his colourful personality in a world where there can be so much blandness. The decline started with his treatment of the team Doctor and has continued on from there, to the point where he doesn't have the support of players, who consequently haven't given their best on the pitch. Any Manager, in any ' profession ' will never enjoy good success if there's no team spirit . . . . regardless of salaries. It'll be interesting to see how the team next plays.

If they don't get better, some of them may be looking for a new nest after Christmas. I'm sure it's all fixed anyway. Jose will no doubt pop up again in some European team, and the world will just carry on as though nothing has happened.
