Please could you sort out my tank?

most food colourings have a side effect of changing flavourings but are not normally considered as a flavouring, just pop to the local shop buy a handful of supercook flavours off the shelf and taste them they all have flavours, most of them also contain things which aren't very good for you when inhaled /

Typical push 3 tanks through as I get fed up coiling all the time......


Only t-juice know what's put in this stuff, got no nasty D's in it though, if you wanna be totally heathy then give up vaping and join a Heath/exercise forum....!

I use Affro in a sub tank constantly letsavit and none of my coils look like that. Just re wicked it this morning after two weeks and a dozen tanks or so and it wasn't too bad. Just out of curiosity what % flavouring are you using ? I mix mine at 15%.

Totally different is stretching things. It is subtly different, lighter than red and I think I prefer it but at the end if the day they are both the same basic flavour (red berry fruits with menthol).

Maybe stretching it for you but to my taste they are very different to the point RA is an ADV and Clara is a now and again at a push.

   Was thinking likewise   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ it's the same old story of taste being subjective. As for food colouring, I'll take my chances on a little of that compared to 20 roll ups a day thank you.

Well, at least it has got people in discussion which is what the forum is all about!

Compared with the tobacco I smoked for over 30 years, a little bit of food colouring and a trace of diacetyl is the least of my worries!!

20% and always on the upper side when measuring, haven't got a juice anywhere near as bad and it's my fav...PITA...!

How can you disagree with the research that diketones cause popcorn lung?  The quantities are irrelevant, the research clearly proved that this group of compounds alone are the direct cause of it.  Some poor, now dead lab rats and a few humans that worked in a microwave popcorn factory are testament to it.  I have linked below a study that has lots of very hard reading references if you are bored.  I can't remember if this is the one that started it all off but if not the study in question will probably be included in the references section.  You are correct that diketones are in cigarettes in greater quantities than in e-liquid but do you know the effects of inhaling them and the other 4500+ other chemicals in cigarettes?  Perhaps it's a consequence that they react with another compound and become inert or it's just the fact that the other chemicals in cigarettes are a lot more harmful and damage your lungs quicker than diketones ever could?  The second link is by a well respected Doctor and has a lot of research links under at the bottom.

Diacetyl is the most basic form of a diketone (a molecule containing two ketone (RCOR') groups).

I am no expert in this area and nor do i have any inclination to be.  People need to do their own research and make an educated judgement on the subject.  However what i can tell you is that diketones are a lot less dangerous than compounds such as benzene, cyanide, lead, mercury, arsenic and thousands of other nasties that are present in cigarettes.  Humans are meant to inhale air, anything else and you're risking harm.

Fair enough but I don't see it - or should that be taste it.

To be fair my taste buds are probably not the greatest but either is an ADV for me - I've just gone through another 30mls of Red and I'm back to preferring the original but I still don't think there's a massive amount between the two of them
