I'm in the you just don't put out a warning without giving full details camp. Irresponsible and stupid. Apart from the need to know, if it turns out to be a false alarm then people will be sceptical about real warnings.

this reminds me of a story a few years ago when a certain trading company decided they wanted to make a certain item but couldn't because another not so well off company already held the patent, they worked out the cheapest way to achieve the end goal of making the product was to buy the competitor, however their valuation had been revised upwards and they couldn't get enough credit to buy them out so they engaged in a bit of industrial subterfuge by tipping a nod n a wink to some gullible twat in the news office that sparked a series of emails and a dodgy news article detailing that "this reporter has been informed off the record that xyz product posses a serious risk to health, by the time of going to print xyz company had failed to respond to our questions so were gong ahead with reporting this in case there is a real problem to inform the public, will update as and when info comes available" xyz's stock price starts to enter freefall, next report details concern is over "toxic compound in said item that is a known carcinogen" found in high concentration in lab tests, share price drops like a rock and triggers trading freeze, all goes quiet initiator buys xyz on the cheap announces that further testing has been done and formulation changed, product now declared safe in official FDA certification... reality bites later when tax reports are filed and there is no R&D into fixing the faulty product...sec investigation is triggered and dodgy practices land the reporter in court facing huge fines and lengthy jail term .....

Might try and find out where in Shenzhen Vaporesso (Smoore) are based, and see if they can a) clear up the toxicity issue and b) sell me some heads direct LoL Seriously though, no contact details on the Vaporesso site, so emailed Smoore directly. As i'm going to be in Shenzhen next week, i've asked if it would be possible to visit the factory, and give their side of the toxicity rumour - i'll contact Spinfuel too to see if they might be interested in 'publishing' Smoore's side of the story - hopefully including their toxicity reports too. Can't hurt to ask as i'll be in the area

I saw in VapnFagan's review that the coil head contains some cotton too, so not all ceramic so the coil is wrapped in cotton then with ceramic around it, it seems. So I wonder if anything found in the report could be either the ceramic or the cotton or even the nickel wire, rubber insulator. Would be good if they did a side by side test with a coil from another manufacturer too to compare such as a nickel head or kanthal head. Its possible to test the coil they have to test differently than a kanthal head since it uses nickel wire so needs to be below a certain temperature.

Interestingly - the Vaporesso site - vaporesso.com - and the links from the statement or the site that robby posted all come up with this message currently The URL Is: www.vaporesso.comMySQL Server Error: Connection timed out ( 2002 ) You Can Get Help In: www.MetInfo.cnIt might be coincidence - scheduled maintenance etc - but within an hour or so of my polite email, saying that i would be in Shenzhen and very interested in visiting the factory and reporting their side of the 'cCell Controversy' for Spinfuel - makes it more interesting LoL Edit OK waited and kept trying for around an hour before posting (on firefox and chrome) - posted - and then the links started working again

If you watch the video in full you will notice that Vapresso are actually in direct contact with the vendor in question so it's not as if they're just spreading lies. The vendor aren't releasing any more info to Grimm until Vapresso have had the final say.

Aloha izan - i'm on the college t'interweb - no fibre - and combined with the great Firewall it can cause issues - but not usually for sites from China. YT is different - and i usually try to download anything that's over 10 minutes - and last night the download failed

Cheers catface26 - use whatever browser works tbh - fiirefox, chrome or Oprah - and Strongvpn - which is good, most of the time. Think the Vaporesso must have been maintenance - just weird timing

The ceramic material appears to be a really good carrier for the liquid, in fact too good. The cotton is there to slow it down a little by the look of it and act as a slight barrier to juice feed to prevent flooding which it does very well in my limited experience of the coil head. It is not in the middle of the coil head which is where the coil and main heat source for the liquid is.
