Todd hates China, Clones, Clone Makers and so as these TC mods are flowing out of China for £20 - £100 he naturally detests it. If they were exclusively European or American and upwards of £150 he'd be creaming his jeans over TC. He's just a humbug who takes himself too seriously. LOL, just because I refused your sexual advances towards me over email, you are just lucky I didn't report you to the police you saucy devil you And Blakey, you are just a cock and I love you for it xxxxx So you're the Todd....! It always bemuses me why people have to pick a side, every time someone asks for help you can almost guarantee that someone will have to post don't use temp limiting blah blah. Too much picking sides in vaping we are all just trying to stay off the stinkies and live a bit longer.
(I just mean threads where help is asked for, not threads discussing it's merits or not these are the right place to say if you do or don't like it etc)
TBH I think that many established reviews resent feeling that they have to become expert in something they may not be interested in, but no ones forcing them to do reviews.

When you really get the hang of TC, you wouldn`t go back, it`s the most consistent vape you can get in my opinion and for dripping, it`s a godsend. Coils and wicks can last upwards of 5 or 6 weeks and that includes the wick if your settings are right. It`s not a fad, it`s here to stay. Very few power only mods these days. I need lessons I'm tired of changing cotton every few days 5-6 weeks would be amazing but the more I read about it the more I get lost. I am not the brightest bulb bulb in the box but I do find it a little overwhelming when trying to find out more.

I understand it fully but have no interest in it.
Some people will remember the evic when it came out, we could plot our vape type and duration there, was a flash in the pan.
You may disagree with someone else opinion but that doesn't give anyone the right to be abusive over it.

I enjoy the vape I get from temp control with a tank. Do I plug in my DNA200 on a regular basis? No. I set the preheat I want and leave it alone. That's why I'm more than happy with my DNA40's and SXJ When it comes to drippers it's good old kanthal for me. We all have a way of vaping that works for us. I do have to agree though Mark that the devices are becoming a bit complicated

I am not the brightest bulb bulb in the box but I do find it a little overwhelming when trying to find out more. I think violetblade, my bulb is as dim as yours. I've had a pop at TC three times and every time I get the same message flashing on the screen which is either "temp control" or "temp limiting" and no vape. Now, for the same to happen on three different mods, I would say it's something I am doing wrong or I don't have it set up properly. I tried nothing fancy, single Ni 200 coil at 0.16ohms in a Velocity dripper. I can't say I don't like TC, if I have said that elsewhere then I shouldn't have. The correct term is, I have never tried it properly because I have never managed to get it set up. I'm not going to beat myself up over it, but hopefully somewhere along the line I'll learn how to get it set up.

The temp limit message is just info and not an error in the device or on your part, I know that is not what you are saying but there is a perception it is. If it happens before you get enough vapour it is probably one of the same principles that apply to all atties needs addressing: enough wicking, airflow and contact area between the coils and wick for the power you want to run. There are a couple of extra points with temp limiting like connection quality and having the right setting for your wire, but fundamentally the basics remain the same.
