Personally when it comes to tanks I vape pretty much only in tc mode. I find I can tailor my vape far more and if I Bugger up my wicking it saves me from the dreaded dry hit. For dripping I just use kanthal as I can taste a dry hit coming and I can just drip more. I totally agree that there is a learning curve to tc but once you've got it sussed and you've found the way you like to vape with it you can't beat it imo

Postie delivers mod. Open box. Throw batteries in. Find out how to switch off TC if it's on by default. Throw atty on. Set watts. Vape. That's all that happens in my gaff.

Opinion seems to be equally split into two camps: For & Against TC well not against as much more like it's not worth the hassle. As always I guess it's the old 'Horses for courses' Thanks for the contributions all

I have a few reels of NI200, and have contemplated getting some SS wire, but at the end of the day, I'm happy with Kanthal and Muji. If things don't work it's either a short or too much cotton, and I know how to sort that out quickly and efficiently. If TC is in its infancy, I'll keep my head down for a few months and see what happens; I'm not a "can't teach an old dog new tricks" person, as I'm always up for a challenge, but TC seems too much faff for something that I can do more quickly. *ducks below parapet to avoid flying mods*

TC is the future of vaping (unless it gets controlled too much). It will become more user friendly. Advances in technology come fast. Evolv have made that obvious. The cost may be high at the moment, but once it becomes the norm, prices will fall. This is the nature of invention.

I see TC as a fad that will die out over time, it's certainly not the future in my view.

Some use it some don't, whys Todds opinion so important, don't even know who the feck he is...
TC lets me use my favourite atty to its limits, something I couldn't do without th risk of burnt hits with watts alone but like a mech/dripper with a kanthel Clapton build too.

I have a few TC mods, including 2 DNA200s, & when properly fettled they work really well. However, it's a PITA to have to recoil so frequently, especially with Nickel. I have subsequently changed back to Kanthal, usually claptons, that just need a quick burn, rinse and re-wicked to be as good as new.
My tank & RDA coils now last months & it's a doddle to give them a bit of a refresh.

Todd hates China, Clones, Clone Makers and so as these TC mods are flowing out of China for £20 - £100 he naturally detests it. If they were exclusively European or American and upwards of £150 he'd be creaming his jeans over TC. He's just a humbug who takes himself too seriously.

Maybe someone ought to tell him to send back his three beloved Serpents back to Shenzhen, China.

Yea bit like that fad of TC on electric oven and hobs, didn't last long before we all went back to cooking on a fire...... Yea but we are heating up a bit of liquid not cooking lobster Thermidor. Soups a bit like juice, bang it in the micro full bifter and wait for the ding
