How often do you rebuild

I've been building for about a year but mainly drippers until I go me a bellus and Aromamizer I used to get about 4 weeks out of a Dripper changing the cotton weekly but only seem to be getting 2 weeks out of a coil on both before I'm getting burnt taste

Two weeks

Lucky bugga, the juices that I vape require frequent rebuilding- like every 3 days

What i wanna know is why do drippers require less rewicking than tanks??

I think this is a case of more airflow is usually travelling through a dripper.
It's like when I used to wick small rta's like a kayfun or obs t-vct the decks and chambers were so small and everything got gunked up really quickly I found.
Now I use big airy direct lung hitting tanks I find my builds can go through a lot more juice.
I may be wrong but that's what I've found

I tend to rewick drippers every other day, even then the slightest off taste and I dry burn/rewick or with titanium just rebuild.
Tanks, it depends what temperature and juice I'm vaping. Found custards need a couple of days to settle in but then its a fine line between vaping Kreeds or the crust on the coil. Where-as coils and wicks used with my key lime/koolada/vodka homebrew will last for weeks.

Depends on nic strength as well. I find anything higher than about 1mg/ml (not sub-ohming) and I'm rebuilding every week on my kayfun or more often. Below that - change wick every day or so (more often every 36 hours or so) and coil about 10 days- 2 weeks

I usually rewick weekly, and recoil every fortnight, or when there's a noticeable change in flavour.

Yeah my basic fruit yoghurts stay good for ages but puddings and custards 3 days max before rewicking I find in tanks.
Like above I usually build coils around every fortnight as they just look like they need doing
I don't do much dripping as I find it a ball ache

I'm now using mainly claptons, light gauges, so not huge builds requiring loads of power. All my subtanks & RDAs are on claptons now, haven't recoiled in a long time. Just dry burn and run under a tap for a few seconds & they're good to wick & go.

Still experimenting - I've got some coils that have been in since late November - horizontal single in a Lemo, dual in a Goblin and a vertical Clapton, also in a Lemo, and they are still going strong - with a rewicking/dry burning or two in between. Then again I went all shinyitus on buying atties so it's not as if I use them every day. The Lemos have seen some heavy use though. Some others I've recoiled a few times because I have not got it quite right yet.

I tend to find that new coils are not as good as ones that have been going awhile - this could be just me getting used to them. I vape mostly baccy flavours - some sweet RY4 types, mostly clear liquids, and I make my own 50/50 vg/pg and use organic cotton pads for wicking.

Sometimes I have a vape and think 'this is starting to taste tricky' but then try it again the next day and it's great.

Funny, but when I have changed my own coils they never look as gunked up as stock coils do after similar amounts of usage.

I just rewicked my serpent after 3 weeks, it had a .21ohm nife30 coil in it running around 430f and the wick and coil was as black and gunky as er... a big bag of black gunky things. I wished I hadn't rewicked now 'cos it tasted better haha
