I have been using the new style Muji for the last couple of weeks now . Apart from being very slightly thinner I cant see any other difference . It still wicks and vapes the same in everything I use it in. I found it worked fine for thin juices (minimum 60% pg) but was constantly dry on pure vg unlike the previous versions /

Might be a stupid comment to make . . . . but my new coiling hero, suggests peeling off the outer layer top and bottom on cotton pads, so you're just using the inner fluffier stuff.

That has been standard practice ever since vapers started using them, but worth repeating as I think people often forget to mention it. I also roll the outer layers like a swiss roll and use those as well, I did it with the fist pad I tried cause I just don't like waste. I also drop the off cuts in a small jar and use with IPA and locking tweezers to clean contacts etc. Just ordered another 400 puff pads, I have been using them for probably a year but I am vaping cotton far more now I have some Aromamizers I can finally get acceptable flavour from cotton for more that a couple of hours.

Two packs of Puff cotton pads arrived yesterday, I opened the first pack and the difference was like chalk and cheese. The cotton is soft instead of feeling coarse, it doesn't rasp or sound squeaky when rubbed between the fingers. I rewicked two drippers, a subtank and a Griffin straight off and it now appears that I'm an OJC wicking genius again. Heck I might even risk taking the Billow and Crius out of disgrace and use those too.

Still using a genny so keeping all that good stuff, but now mostly using Aromanizers as they don't get hot spots if they get a knock, handle more power and have decent flavour if you change the wick every tank or two, it's probably the quickest dual coil tank to wick even after 10 PM at a boozy vape meet with Ni200 coils.

Hmmm...may have to check out the Aromamamamizer! Leak-free? Pos. in the market for a faff-free RTA for out-&-about......... Been completely leak free, it does form some condensation in the chamber that I just wipe out when filling. When filling turn the mod upside down and unscrew the tank section and filling is super quick with the bonuses of being able to clear condensation and being able to see the coils and test fire & tweak wet coils if anything is not right. I just do 2 mm ID horizontal coils, just using the top two connection holes (no legs to get hot) and that also restricts the air flow to just how I like it giving a more flavourful genny like vape. With horizontal coils you just cut the wick to length and fold it down, no shaping it, fluffing it or having to get the right amount into channels, they just need to touch the deck. And unlike designs that have wick channels it doesn't matter what the diameter of the wick or coil are.

Bearing in mind that I ordered some cotton from the same link a few days after this thread appeared, I should get a delivery soon myself. I've discovered the Scottish Roll wicking method in my drippers which works a treat, so looking forward to trying this cotton using the same way of working. Will update here when it arrives!

well my bag of puff arrived this morning I opened it left it on the table for 5 minutes while i went to the kitchen and when i returned my wife n daughter were cooing over how good the new face cleansing /makeup removal pads were ...........ordered another 2 bags hopefully at least one of these will make it to my vape pile (apparently the new style muji feels rough on the face. hopefully the twins will like it as a spot scrubber......) fortunately i still have a few pads of the old style muji left....just hope it lasts

Yep, my bag arrived yesterday! One question - do these Puff pads have a more solid layer on one side which needs to be peeled off, as I'm damned if I can see or feel one? If not, I presume that they can just be peeled in half layer-wise and then stretched and rolled for the Scottish Roll method? I will have a go at some point this weekend, time permitting!
