RIP Sir Terry.
Having met him on a few occasions (I lived very near to him) I can only say he was a wonderful gentleman.

Anyone aware of the fee he took for presenting children in need? £1300 an hour. In addition to £800K of license payers money for a few hours a day of alcohol fueled blather on the radio. He's resting peacefully, and always has been.

He's resting peacefully, and always has been. I was aware of quite a few others and the BBC was good for a grab...still is unfortunately! I hope this ain't going to be a Bowie shrine on radio/tv/media thing again. Radio 2...off Parkinson anybody...or a free Parker pen.
