Whatever . . . . the man had broadcasting talent that few have, the majority of his stuff was unscripted and he made it appear effortless. Which only masters of their craft are able to, in my humble.
( Ever tried to speak publicly for more than a few minutes without anything prepared in front of you - it isn't so easy as it might seem. )
My thoughts go to his family and friends who have doubtless lost a shining light in their lives today.

God I cant understand the bitterness. The man used to make the morning drive to work fun and entertaining, unlike the guy that now screams down the speakers all the bloody time.
If I could demand £1300 per hour and I suspect most of you would if you could.
This came as a real shock today.
Another TOG not happy today.

I wasn't his biggest fan, but I did like his TV chat show and Radio 2 show, and he was part of our lives for so long.
Wasn't it only last year he made the TV show with the London cabbie, touring the country in the taxi... I enjoyed that also.
Like the others recently who have passed, the shock comes from us not realising that they were seriously ill. RIP.

I'd just like to post a bitter comment about cancer. **** **** **** **** ***** comment moderated as too offensive  I'm just sick of hearing about people affected by this vile disease. It's touched far too many people in real life, on this forum and celebrities recently. So, for anyone that this has touched  and for cancer  |

Just seen that Frank Finlay has also passed, aged 89. Maybe not in the same league of celebrity as Sir Terry, but a talented actor nonetheless. This month has been a bad one for talented people passing to the other side. RIP both.

Bobsbeer Oh, bl**dy hell... this is getting ridiculous... or is it that as we all get older, the names we grew to know so well are getting even older. It doesn't make it any easier, but it is a timely reminder for us all to make life as good as we can for those around us... time is running out for all of us.  On that 'happy' note... RIP Terry... I have seen the title a few times Terry Wogan Dead and I cannot believe it, all these years he has just been here. I hope his family are coping OK.
