My wife has an Istick20 and uses 3 Nautilus Aspire mini's. Up to about a day ago everything was fine, but now she can't screw in the tanks, they just turn. There is no cross threading as they attach to other mods. Is it possible the spring pin is stuck down. Anyone else experienced this problem ?

This was a fault with them the screw in threads were made of a soft material. The later one was made a lot better

The istick20 has a really poorly designed 510 positive pin, ive had many apart anf they are all held together with nothing more than a mastic type material. Quite shocking actually. Get your good lady an istick 30watt and bin the 20 would be my advice. If she likes the form factor of 20 the 30 is virtually identical but has a mechanically robust 510 pin

I always used one of the bendy adaptors on mine and that stopped the constants unscrewing and screwing on the mod it's self. If you get another iStick get one of those as well. I think they were around £5, but are made of steel so don't wear.

There is no cross threading as they attach to other mods. Is it possible the spring pin is stuck down. Anyone else experienced this problem ? in my exerpaicne of mods n tanks its likely to be either the centre pin in the bottom of the tank adaptor is protruding to much or the center pin on the isticks 510 adaptor is sticking up to much... push the tank unit on a hard surface if you see the centre pin is protruding a long way, look on you tube if the istick's centre pin seems to be overly high and how to fix it (most tend to stick too far down though) personally I bought some of these www.gearbest.com/electronic-cigarettes/pp_204215.html and so long as the heat shield stays on the mod there is no problem.... (just type in "510 heat" in a search bar to see the range of them) but if one gets stuck on a tank then it wont screw back onto the mod as a complete unit (but because its a cheap sacrificial part a pair of pliers denting the fins is no problem) as others have said get a 30w istick (not from FT though they seem to be selling clones as genuine items) which has a better 510 connector. we all live and learn, as an old boss of mine used to say "every day is a school day"

Relieved to hear those are authentic as I ended up placing an order for a second one. The istick 20w that I bought from Vape escape, over a year ago is still going strong, though charge unsurprisingly, not lasting long these days. I think it has to be one of the very best vape related items I've bought

Bought about 6 now I think from FT between myself and vaping friend, none have had issues.

Thanks again Mandy Even if the istick 30w's only last half as long as my istick 20w, I'll be more than happy. Lol, I remember almost dismissing it due to it having an internal battery - so glad I didn't

I don't mind though as they do everything I need. Not having to worry about batteries is a real plus I find.
