More precise diy equipment

Just started mixing and finding the provided 5ml and 10ml syringes a pain to use. Are there for example pipettes I can buy which are accurate and easy to clean?

The best thing I've ever done is buy a set of scales no more syringes and no more cleaning up, mixing buy weight is so easy

but mass mixing using a bargain basement set of jewellers sub gram scales as suggested above could be lot less hassle. and if you do opt for this option £1 shop disposable shot and whiskey glasses make great cheap mixing containers..

Yeah another here for mixing by weight, you can get a set of scales for less than a tenner that re good for mixing half a litre at a time.

I can see the advantage of mixing by weight IF You're mixing a large volume....
For someone just starting tho' ...& those mixing up 50ml. bottles (Me!)...get some 1ml. syringes to go wiv the 10 & 5's.

Agreed a digital scale is always going to be more accurate than eyeballing a syringe or mixing cup.

anon4 . . . . I'd suggest getting some smaller syringes, 1ml and 2ml:

Anything under 1ml, I tend to use drops ( which isn't generally recommended but it works for me ) and work on 30 drops equaling 1ml.

For large volumes of anything, then I use measuring cylinders:
