clearomiser or carts

Hi,

Before my questions i would just like to say that it is now 1 week since i had a ciggy and im loving my Riva.

Now, Ive been filling my carts with all kinds of flavours and im starting to get low on them. Not so much as they have come to their end of life but some flavours are yuck so the cart got binned.

How long do the clearomisers last for? Is it cheaper to buy 1 clearomiser v a pack of 5 carts? and is there a minimum amount of juice needed to put in the clearomiser?

Buy some Vision Stardusts then you can see how much juice you have left. If you take care of them they'll easily last a couple of weeks each. Just rinse them out every 3 or 4 fills. They'll fit your Riva without an adapter. and look like the picture in my next post...

I love the clearomisers! I use the standard resistance though ???

I see that low resistance gives better throat hit but the 3 ohm carts i got from vapeescape with my starter kit seemed fine. Maybe i buy a standard and a low resistance one to find out whats best i suppose.

No. After initially liking them, I have gone off them. Another thing that does not live up to it's hype.

I like them and use them all the time, I wouldn't go back to cartos, but they do have issues.

You need to dry burn them from time to time or they destroy the taste of juices by pumping out caramelised gunk. Rinsing them out between fills helps.

Issue number two is that the plastic bodies of those I've had cracked quite severely after a while. I'm not sure if that's because I was always taking them apart.

These issues can be fixed, and in theory one could last you forever if you can manage to take it aprt for rewicking, but it gets very technical.

They're like three quid each from healthcabin if you plan ahead or do groupbuy.

I've just been reading that some of the newer ones (CE4+ was mentioned, not vision/stardust) have the coil soldered in. Would make rewicking difficult.
