Maths Problem - Can you figure it out?

I must admit that maths is not my strong suit, and I got it wrong.  However it did get my old grey cells jumping around, so it was worth it.

Can you get the right answer?



So lets see who gets it right first. Do we have any maths geeks in our midst?

(6 /0.333) + 1 =19.18

I think

or
9 -3 = 6 / (0.33+1)=4.5
Depends where the calculation starts really.

or

9-3/0.33333+1= 0.9999099991


You need to know where the brackets are required.

Still no brackets so I'd assume:

9 - (3 ÷ 1/3) +1 

9 - 1 + 1 = 9

                        9 - (3 ÷ 1/3) +1

                        9 - 9 +1 = 1

6 ÷1/3=2

2+1=3

That is right brackets or not, multiplication and division take priority over addition and subtraction.

From BODMAS its -1 ...innit?

9-3div1/3+1 aka a crap expression!

Div.... (3div1/3) = (3*3/1) = 9 or 9 thirds in numeral 3
Add... (9+1)
Sub... (9-10) = (9-(+10)) which is (+9 -10) = -1 (negative priority)
