Freezing -storage

Quick question - can you freeze premixed base for long term storage? If so can it simply be bunged in the freezer in the same plastic bottles it comes in? How long will it keep in the freezer? I'm thinking of buying a litre a month for the next couple of months to stock up against the TPD preventing me from buying it. 

I presume I won't need to stock up on concentrates as they won't be affected?

Glass bottles are better as they exclude oxygen permeation better than thin plastic, for long term storage. Also I take it that you're planning storing relatively low strength "premix base" as opposed to 72mg/ml nicbase? You'd need to store much less the stronger you go, so I'd encourage you to think 72mg/ml.
PG, VG & flavour concentrates, by themselves, aren't affected by the TPD

Likewise snow . . . . if you're going to take up space in the freezer, then make the best use of it.

And it's so worth decanting first into amber glass bottles, for what they cost and the short time it takes - then you've done all that you can to preserve your stocks for as long as possible.

If you're only wanting a couple then it's worth checking out local Chemists, for larger quantities then this site is worth consideration:

I'm like a broken record . . . . but some of my stash has been in the freezer for over 5 years stored in this way, without the benefit of scientific testing it appears as fresh as the day it went in.

Similar questions were posed 3 or 4 years ago when we first faced a ban , I personally stocked up on 72mg pg nic base and bought a shed load of amber glass bottles from ampulla . I still have a couple of litres left in the freezer and it appears not to have lost any of its potency.

Thanks guys have had a read and will decant to glass bottles if I go down this route but working with 72mg nicotine is not for me I'm afraid, I am simply far FAR too cack handed - trust me on this I am not someone who should be playing around with chemicals

Nothing wrong storing less strong "premix" snow , only you'll need a lot more of it to last the same period of time.

Remember premix <20mg/ml should still be available post TPD apocalypse.

Perpetua uksteve you could open a vaping museum between you and I'm saying nothing about cartos

snow whatever you feel comfortable with. Vaping isn't being banned but imo it will get more expensive and less choice.

I'll probably buy premade in 250ml bottles @6mg thats what I've used during my first attempts at diy and the stuff I made has turned out vapeable albeit that I'm fairly sure the nic % drop below 6mg but thats OK I planned to lower my nic levels anyway. However, I made a heck of a mess mixing even with the premade base I just don't trust myself with pure nic.

Its a family joke that I can trip over thin air and walk into open doors, I am the only person in the accident book at my old office that has an entry for getting her foot stuck under a toilet door - said bottom of the door being at least 6" above the level of the floor.... I was also banned from the gym at RAF Hereford as I got stuck in the equipment. Those are only a very small sample of the types of things that happen to me, when I raised the subject of possibly buying a blow torch for coil making my husband nearly had a heart attack ( I only said it for devilment ) At family funeral I tried to light my cigarette with a tampon and when meeting Princess Anne I walked across the center of the hall in front of all the great and the good as well as Her Anneness with my skirt tucked into the back of my knickers .... believe me the word clutz was invented to describe me
