I must be getting old.

Are people so damned useless and unimaginative that they have to rely on a mobile phone app to get them out of the house?

I grew up without computers or mobile phones or apps, there was Sinclair ZX80 in the gaming club at school and my Dad bought us the original Atari Pong in 1975.

I caught Evee (a character in aforementioned) up the woods at the weekend, was nice to take the dogs for a walk in the sunshine, ended up in a nice country pub about 5mls away, where a very good jazz quintette entertained us.
FWIW missed out on Dragonite on the return trip- crafty little blighter!

Well I downloaded the app and thought I'd have a go at catching my first Pokemon today . . . . didn't have my reading glasses and the sun was so bright I couldn't see my phone screen even if I had taken them!

So my Pokemon gaming career is yet to get started.
