As I'm approaching a certain age, I've been wallowing in 'memories'. I just hope that they invoke pleasant memories for those of a similar age. And to you youngsters... don't waste a minute of your life... enjoy, BUT be good to others. I've been watching videos on YouTube of places from my youth that I didn't think still existed, purchased photos of places on eBay that I grew up in and thought I'd never see again. I just hope that our grandkids have the same opportunity in this 'sick' world. I could go on with these clips, but I hope you get the idea. You are not alone.  |

Oh - and I do clearly remember when I first saw the Italian Job - to say the least, a real cliff hanger ending.

Me too, still traumatised by being made to watch Hughie Green on Opportunity Knocks when I was a kid.  Went to a place called Sukhothai in Thailand about 4 years ago, sitting on the porch of my little guest house cabin with a beer listening to someone play Hotel California REALLY LOUD over and over again at the same time every evening. Ahh, the good old days... I went to see the Eagles live in 1974 when they were touring with Neil Young... (Just an old hippie, really). |
