Hi I've recently started to mix my own liquid & have been using a premixed vg/pg nicotine, will I still be able to get this after May due to the tpd? Or will my mixing days be short lived? Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Only in 10 ml bottle, IIRC it is worse in that after 20th Nov only existing stock of larger sizes can be sold, before 20th Nov you can get what you always could.

As above, i would be very quick and get an order in otherwise your going to quickly find any benefit of making your own juice is severely hit by the new regulations and pricing that's coming in. Read a few threads on the safe storage of Nicotine (best kept in the freezer in amber glass bottles)

My advice would be get a supply of 72mg (7.2%) nicotine base in ASAP. Darkstar and everything liquid are reliable sources.

Sounds like I may have to, though I prefer the premix so all I have to do is add concentrate.

Just to add . . . . all nicotine base will be subjected this regulation - not just pre-mix. From what I've read around the net, current popular Vendors are/have stocked up in anticipation of an increase in demand - but they can only anticipate what that demand might be, so it makes sense to get in a supply while there's the opportunity. Anyone wondering about long term storage might also find this information useful: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/48111/bulk-nicotine?page=1Sounds like I may have to, though I prefer the premix so all I have to do is add concentrate. There's nothing to stop you making a bottle of your own premix first goodkidd from any 72mg you might buy - which would enable you to carry on mixing exactly as you have been.

100ml of 72mg/ml nicotine in PG + 500ml of VG gives 600ml of 12mg/ml premix at 17%PG/83%VG ratio, which keeps it simple and is almost the same PG/VG ratio everything is scalable, e.g.: 50ml of 72mg/ml nicotine in PG + 250ml of VG gives 300ml of 12mg/ml premix at 17%PG/83%VG ratio 25ml of 72mg/ml nicotine in PG + 125ml of VG gives 150ml of 12mg/ml premix at 17%PG/83%VG ratio

Just a quick preliminary calculation; subject to being totally wrong but at such a low PG % I reckon that if you buy pg base nic base you just need to add vg to it.
83% VG mixed with 17% PG based 72mg nic base.
You will end up with less than 12mg ejuice when you add the flavouring but presumably you already end up with something less than 12 mg.

This is my attempt goodkidd . . . . to make 100ml of base, using 72mg VG Nicotine: 16.5ml Nicotine/ 68.5ml VG/ 15ml PG = 11.88mg 85VG/15PG Dave might get a little closer than me on the nic strength . . . . .

It is best to buy 72mg/ml PG nicotine base (in this instance) , therefore you only need to add plain VG. (If you use VG nicbase, then you need to dilute with both plain VG and plain PG, as Perpetua has done) If making smaller quantity than I have listed above, e.g. 100ml of premix: 16.7ml of 72mg/ml nicotine in PG + 83.3ml of VG gives you 100ml of premix @ 12mg/ml nic (17%PG/83%VG)
