I would agree with Postmodern Smoking and Perpetua, the longer you can be self sufficient the better snow. Who knows what will happen in the near to medium term. Sincerely hoping that as time passes, there will be a workaround, but I won't be holding my breath.

Well I have taken the plunge and ordered a litre of nicotine - I decided in the end to buy from Dark Star even though they were slightly dearer than tmbnotes when the postage was added £53.94 vs £51.99) but as its for long term storage I wanted to be certain that I was getting a good quality recommended product and tmbnotes is not a company I am familiar with so for the sake of £1.95 it wasn't worth the risk.

As you say, pretty pointless.
1 10ml bottle would give you a mix of 66.7ml @ 3 mg/ml or 16.7ml @ 12 mg/ml... talk about being screwed to the floor!

Or to put it another way; From one 250ml bottle of 72mg I can make 1800ml of e-juice at 10mg (1% nic) with 10% flavouring. Using the TPD compliant 10ml *18mg nic base limit I would need about 100 tiny bottles of the stuff to make the same amount of e-juice.

It is an environmental disaster apart from a vaping one.

*It will probably be 18mg rather than 20mg as retailers will want to play safe with compliancy.

The 100 bottles quote in your post above is only another example of the madness of the whole thing Richard46. Clearly the enviroment is only an issue ( like a lot of other things) when it suits the politicians to be so. I wouldn't trust our present political representative's to run a bath, far less run the country.

Perpetua Had to go into my local pharmacy this morning to pick up a prescription so decided to ask about amber bottles - they didn't know at first if they were allowed to sell them to me and then they had to phone another store to find out a price but eventually I left there with 4 x 200ml 1 x 300ml and 5 x 100ml (those were the only sizes they had) which they sold to me for 79p each so I'm happy with that


Edited to add: My nicotine has also just been delivered - wow thats fast! Yippee I'm vapocalypse proof at last

I forgot to add at one time medicine bottles were my regular go to travel bottles for e-liquid and shampoo! One 200ml plastic, leakproof (almost) bottle for shampoo from chemist - about 50p or free . Chemist used to get used to me coming in for bottles LOL

This thread had me nippin over to Darkstar to double my stash from 1 Litre to 2!

Am down to vaping at 6mg and I vape about 12ml a day - so am reckoning I am apocalypse proof for over 4 years.

2L of 72mg/ml nicbase should last you approximately 5.5 years if consuming 12ml/day @ 6mg/ml ..... which is a similar duration that I'm going to prepare for.
