I am sure that there are many vapers who are reading these topics but do not join the forum. For them rather than practised mixers, this is how I store my Nic Base and how I use it.
First off, I buy it in litre bottles and this usually arrives in a Plastic Bottle inside a Polythene Bag. This goes straight in the freezer, unopened.
When I need some Nic Base, I let the original litre bottle thaw out for a day and then decant the whole bottle into 100ml Brown Bottles which I label with that information that I need to know. These 100ml bottles go back in the freezer, keeping out one for use.
When mixing, I usually make up 200ml of my day to day tobacco flavoured e-juice which I put into 100ml Blue Glass Bottles and 30ml Plastic Bottles of my non tobacco flavours. From the blue glass bottle, I further decant into 30ml Plastic Bottles for day to day use.
Nic Base, arriving at the house is, in my opinion, perfectly well packaged that it can go directly into the freezer without me mucking around with it.
The reason I then decant it into the 100ml Brown Bottles is that these have wide necks and I can put a measuring syringe right into the bottle without having to use a needle. It just makes measuring so much easier.
The reason I use Blue Bottles for my mixes is that A:- it denotes ready mixed e-juice, and B:- I just so happened to have a couple of 100ml blue bottles kicking about.
There has been much stated about using coloured bottles, length of time that Nic Base will stay usable and all that jazz. Personally I say that unless there is a link to some bona fide laboratory research that states how stuff should be stored and used, then common sense should prevail and you use whatever you can obtain.

Given the topical nature of the subject and having just defrosted some ' frozen ' nic base to keep Colin from the Common supplied in Red Astaire . . . . I thought this might be of interest to anyone who may have reservations or doubts on the long term storage of it. This is from one of my earliest bottles, by my reckoning it must be almost 6 years old now - purchased from NicVape in the US, as at that time availability in the UK was very limited and expensive. Decanted into amber glass and ' frozen ' immediately on receipt . . . . true enough it's 50mg as I was just finding my way around the whole mixing process and it was a fair bit cheaper than 75mg to be experimenting with. I hope the picture taken in artificial light shows how clear it is still - there's a nicotine aroma from it, but it's a light, fresh and untainted smell. ( The potency I have no way of testing. )

2.2 litres (22X100ml) of 72mg/ml nicbase used to make 15ml/day @ 3mg/ml should last around 9.6 years Grandad

Thanks for the pic of your NicVape Perpetua. Now I know to put mine to the back of the rack and use the others first. .

My pleasure Lobey . . . . thought I'd use it first being my oldest bottle now, plus PG which I can no longer tolerate ( unless my flavour ratios are really low - which doesn't happen often. ) others that I mix for can - so it works out well for all of us.

That is one thing that concerns me about the future Perpetua. What if my taste buds change and I become intolerant to PG/VG/what have you. It is all well and good stocking up for future needs, but we can only do that on our present preferences. PG Nic Base suits me at the moment and although I do have a small amount of VG Nic Base, I am loathed to go out and buy anymore on a just in case basis. Oh well, I will just have to wait and see.

So , ive just read through the whole post and not knowing about the best way to freeze nic base im still scratching my head a little.
Apart from different colored glass bottles for identity reasons what is it BEST to freeze in? "Glass or the plastic bottles they arrive in" ?
Knowing that glass bottles you fill to the brim and plastic bottles you squeeze the liquid to the brim and put the top on for less air inside befor you freeze .
.... Im just hoping my mother has some free space in her freezer as mines full of food lol.

Glass, a small but of air is not an issue, IMO better to have larger bottles for long term then each time you defrost one split it into smaller bottles, one to use each time you mix. That way you don't have too many bottles, don't have much air in the bottles and you only decant your nic twice, but it's just what I find least hassle. The colour doesn't matter in the dark, never open a cold bottle or you will get condensation form inside it, let them get to room temp or a bit above.

Just stick it in the freezer be it glass or plastic. when you need some take it out let it get to a temp so you can shake it and use what is needed then put it back in the Freezer. Still on 2012 nic so my 2016 stash will probably get opened when im about 80 and vaping till about 190
