That is one thing that concerns me about the future Perpetua . What if my taste buds change and I become intolerant to PG/VG/what have you. It is all well and good stocking up for future needs, but we can only do that on our present preferences. PG Nic Base suits me at the moment and although I do have a small amount of VG Nic Base, I am loathed to go out and buy anymore on a just in case basis. Oh well, I will just have to wait and see. That's all you can do Lobey and then deal with it if/when it ever happens - which it very well may not do. .... Im just hoping my mother has some free space in her freezer as mines full of food lol. Ditch some of the food is my advice sloppyvape - you'll still be able to buy that easily enough after May 20th 2017 . . . . I'd bet that there's a fair percentage of us who have items which have been in the freezer too long and are past their best anyway, a couple of litres of base if you store it in 500ml bottles doesn't really take up a great deal of space.

Yes sloppyvape, at the price of Nic Base, food, unless it is Caviar, pales into insignificance. Or do it like me. Buy a shed and install another freezer in it. Then you'll have the room for gallons of the stuff.

I forgot to mention that one big advantage of glass is it is easy to sterilise in the oven or microwave. Also if you live in a hard water area like I do rinse with a little purified water after washing.

It'll be fine Grandad . . . . . generally nic base stored correctly ( cool and dark place ) regardless of being frozen or chilled, keeps for a couple of years anyway without taking these precautions.

So I have just received 2 litres of nic but I don't have the room to store the glass bottles upright in the freezer. Will it hurt if they're on their side? I'm wondering if the liquid being against the cap will cause contamination over time? Maybe our *-SARIN-* might know the science behind this

My non expert answer is no if they're the plastic child proof type . . . . . I do know of other vapers who have been storing their base ' flat ' for years without apparent issue, due to space constraints jtc . A bit more critical to ensure they're completely leak proof is my only observation.

I've given the tops an extra tighten before storing so they shouldn't leak

Bubble wrap? What's that for? Breakages?

OK I assume it's for protection but it won't ever be in the situation to get harmed so that should be OK
