For the price I may have to pop one in my tray to give it a try. I usually mix 100-200ml batches so the capacity of this is ideal.

Depends on your VG/PG ratios I'd say Bob . . . . if you mix VG heavy, then I can't imagine two tiddly AAA batteries generating much oomphage myself. Better off buying something more robust perhaps?

You may be right Perpetua 2 x AAA is pretty feeble. I usually mix 70/30 or 50/50 vg/pg. I think it may struggle, but who knows. It is Chinese. I usually do it with a manual teaspoon, and seem to get reasonable success even if it takes quite a bit of stirring. If it didn't work for juice, it would work to get yeast starters going for my beer an wine, so not a total write-off.

Just ordered one. $8.95 with the Thanksgiving coupon code THANKS2016. Ordered with ePacket so hopefully here in a couple of weeks and I can do a review.

I suspect it will struggle, but we will see how it gets on.

Well it's on it's way so when it arrives I can try mixing in it and see how it goes. I'll make sure I have a teaspoon standing by. If it does manage to mix things up I don't expect the batteries to last too long. I may have to do bit of fettling and wire it to the mains, but for £6 I'm not too bothered.

Up till now my trusty teaspoon has done a stirling job, and appears to have mixed the ingredients evenly, at zero cost. However I'm all for technological advances, so will embrace the new mixing technology. I have thought I should build a magnetic stirring machine, but as I don't often culture yeast from slants etc it seemed a bit of overkill to rehydrate a sachet of dried yeast, and in the case of e juice to evenly mix up to 200mls. So have continued with my trusty teaspoon. However this unit looked like a decent size and easy to clean and store when not in use. So we will see how it goes.

I don't use milk frothers...... I've always found the shake and steep method best....... but here's a cautionary tale from the ELR forum for those that do or are considering it:
