Woohay - my screwdriver arrived today. I have put the battery into the charger - according to the instructions - charger in first then insert battery. And................... am waiting, and waiting, and ..........

How long does it take to charge up an SD battery? Hope I haven't got a duff one.

if the charger has nano on it then it could take 5 hrs to go green, ive read that it doesnt have to go green, 3 hrs should do it.
if the charger does not have nano on it should take no longer than 3hrs.
when i first got my first sd it took a ridiculous amount of time to charge.
i popped the batt out then put it back in, 20 mins later it went green, never had the same problem again.
if the charger is in the wall the batt may not be in correctly, the light is still red, but not as red as it should be, try making sure its really in.
get your self a short extension lead and charge them laid flat.

I've been using a LR901 in my SDmkII for 6 weeks odd now and it's still going strong - I bet it goes bottom up tomorrow now I've said that!!

I bought a 'spares pack' that contained three SD batteries. Two took around 4 hours before they turned 'green' and the other never did and still doesn't. Curiously it works just fine compared with the other two, so I just put two blobs of red nail polish on that one to distinguish it from t'other new ones that have one red blob each. so I simply time it rather than wait forever!

LOl, Foxy, I bought 4 colours of nail art "pens" purely for marking batteries etc. Trouble is, I forget my codes

(And only 2 pen-bottles actually worked But they were ever so cheap.)
