A (probably very silly) post-TPD question

I started on 18mg and it never really satisfied me and I found myself going more towards sub ohming which I enjoy better. Unfortunately a 2ml tank just doesn't do sub ohming justice. In this situation I feel people like myself will miss out. Yes they can refill every 5 minutes but who the hell wants that. It would be worse than dripping which to me is a pain in the rear. Things just might become so much of a faff that potential vapers give up and end up back on cigs

I've bought 3 new 6ml tanks, just in case. As for going back on the smokes, that is not an option for me.




Edit : At the moment I'm trying to fall in love with squonking but it just ain't happening, think it will be a short affair.

I tried but it didn't really do it for me.
Big tank, big mod,big battery capacity, big juice capacity and big cloudage is where I'm happy

I agree about the annoyance of restriction. But, in a massively saturated market and with some very questionable standards by some vendors, regulation was always going to happen and it also has some benefits with regards to safety, accountability etc.

I know that we sold 50 bottles of <20mg to every bottle of >20mg, which is why I talk about the majority (18mg was by far the biggest seller).

Hopefully, not too many will lose out and the benefits of the regulations will offset the negatives.

A year and a bit ago sydsut but strengths were heading down quickly, with the increase in power and sub ohming etc.

In the last few months there was a definite shift lower and we had started to sell more strengths between 8mg and 18mg.

Although, for the new starters (particularly the footfall in the shop), we always kept it simple and more often than not they went away with 18mg and a decent Ego type kit. We had a good percentage of loyal/return customers and very few ever increased from their starting strength (some decreased, but the majority stayed the same).

Myself - I started on 18mg and stayed on 18mg until VE closed and then I dropped to 12mg and have never noticed the difference.

I still use a Provari (P3), Kabuki Tank and Nautilus Coil (1.8ohm) and vape happily at 10W.

We also once did a blind test with strengths and a couple of willing customers and they both ended upon 6mg before they thought they were noticing any difference or vaping significantly more. One started on 18mg and the other on 20mg.

I still personally think that a lot of it is psychological and find that if I go out for a few hours now - I don't even think about taking my gear with more, something that would be unthinkable when we were on the ciggies (there would be more chance of me forgetting the kids than my cigs).

The next step in the evolution of e-liquids will involve the use of Nicotine salt base
These e-liquids will offer a far better and faster rush/hit at a lower mg strength than e-liquids made from conventional pure nicotine.
