Has anyone else invested in this model?
I'm seriously considering it & have recently placed a pre-order. However, I will want to know the price before I decide to indulge.

theprecious.ro/home/It's a fab looking piece of kit, however, I have heard it's going to be $200, which could be a bit out of my price range to be honest.

Don't think he has Perpy, will have to have a look.
Yes, his vids are ace. I always recommend them to new vapers. Watching his vids backs up what is said in this forum & sometimes seeing something visually does help with the understanding of vaping.

Agreed Hissie.
So about £130, does that include batteries/charger I wonder?
Although a number of the big mods don't seem to come with those either so it wouldn't be out of the norm if it didn't.

No, you only the get the body. Atties & batteries need to be bought separatly.
Doesn't appear that Scott has a review vid on this mod.
Couldn't bear watching the ECF link you posted lol. The guy was getting on my nerves.

Hissie, all I'm going to say at the moment is hang fire. Not because I think the precious is a bad mod to go for (though I do think it has a crappy button). But.......... I also think Scott's video's are good, but do remember that everything he reviews has been sent to him for free. i.e, he hasn't gone out & chosen them. And I don't think I've seen him do a bad review on anything he has received for a very long time

Hissie, all I'm going to say at the moment is hang fire. Ok will hang fire. I'm in no rush to be honest. Even considering getting some more Tornado batts from TECC. Then I'll have 12 inc my 2 Riva ones.

Hissie, why do you need that many batteries? especially if you are thinking of buying a big battery mod in the near future?

Yes as you say a lot cheaper(er).
Re you looking for the perfect mod. Have a think of what is the most important things for you.
For me, it was : -
Well made 100% mechanical. Lockable button Safety features like good air vents Button placement Good quality button. Durable parts that don't break easy & if they do, easy to replace.
Next you must think of weight & size. I love my GGTS with a 18650 battery but it is big & very heavy in that mode compared to a Tornado/Riva for instance.
I'm really hoping Imeo starts making the GG Grant again. Still love mine that I bought 16 months ago.

Chrissie, at the weekend, did you have a go with Lettie's Riva or Tornado? If so, how would you say it compared to the GG?
I think most of us newbiews have got going with Tornado/Riva and haven't anything to compare it with. That is how I feel, so want to be sure that any further purchase is definitely going to be at least better, expecially if the price is higher.

I don't think it's half as good looking as the GGSlim and do remember that being so small, the battery life likely won't be much better than a normal, say, 901 - my GGSlim isn't.
Also, if the Precious has to be ordered from the US it will/could be subject to whopping additional customs duty/VAT/post office handling charges that would make it more expensive than my car!!! ???
