Warning! Nitecore chargers sold by Next Day Batteries.

Seems like there is a strong possibility that next day batteries may have knowingly or otherwise, sold fake and potentially dangerous nitecore 4 bay chargers. This has been an ongoing situation since 28/29th September. Next day batteries have, as far as I can see, responded poorly to the situation. The problem apparently is the use of a potentially non fused plug and the authentication code on these have come back as not recognised by nitecore. As ever folks, if purchasing this piece of equipment, for your own safety and that of others, please be vigilant.

Concerning isn't it the lack of response from NDB . . . . as a consequence we have unanimously decided to withdraw their Vendor status on the forum and moved them on some few days ago.

As an ' administration ' we do not choose to be associated with any Vendor who gives poor service and/or sells potentially dangerous equipment - knowingly or otherwise. Nor let any of our Members purchase such equipment with our seeming approval.

Selling mains operated equipment with a non fused plug is illegal IIRC, I wonder if nitecoreuk would be be able to shed any light on the authenticity or otherwise of the chargers.

If you don't know that the items you are selling have non fused plugs.
And that said plugs are illegal in the UK anyway then you shouldn't be in business.

NDB say they buy direct from nitecore
Nitecore have already been in contact and say it is defo a fake and not bought from them and the plug is non fused and dangerous.
proof has been posted of sale and receipt from NDB
the item was returned and received with tracked proof and sig by NDB on monday 2nd oct
NDB have now contacted trust pilot reviews to ask for buyers review to be removed as the charger was not bought from him.
the original purchaser has still not had any of his mail replied too.
a simple, we fooked up and a fake slipped through. we will refund immediately could have solved all of this but all he is doing now is digging a bigger hole for himself and his company.

I feckin hate people that just blamestorm anything and or anyone else rather than own up to a mistake. We all make mistakes and providing there is no serious or lasting damage done it is how we deal with them, then what lessons we take on-board for the next time that counts.

erm they get caught selling some clones and they blame their customers for being a bit miffed,that a good business plan

at least they trying to do the right thing i suppose but its a little cheeky lol
they might be gen chargers just gotten from some cheap website with the wrong plugs to be fair we dont know what has been supplied
still a monumental booboo

Much the same thought myself. But I only posted this in the off chance that any member here who'd purchased one would have an avenue to have the situation resolved, rather than be left with an unsafe piece if equipment.
