Keeping to the Tornado/Mistral/Tempest theme, there's also cyclone, twister, typhoon (is there one of them already?), gale (that last one for men who'd like a lady's name for their PV).
A weather-related name would suggest it's in the Tornado bracket of PVs.
A vote is a great idea, IMO - perhaps James should narrow it down to a shortlist - we don't want a long list and end up with one vote for each.
