Clear Steam DIY?

I'm going into hospital again for an eye op shortly and have been advised I may have to stay in overnight at least - I'm going to be pretty much confined to the ward apart from toilet breaks so am looking to prepare for some stealth vaping. Last time I went in I used Clear Steam which worked well however I've only got a small amount left and went to go buy some more and its not available at the moment (plus its £4.99 for 10ml when it is in stock).  According to the website Clear Steam is basically flavour + pg + distilled water on that basis I am considering making my own - if I were to go 100% Pg would that produce the same effect i.e. no vapour? Otherwise if the water is needed any ideas what ratio to go for?  Thinking I'm going to use a GS Air tank with a 1.2 ohm coil.

Due to my stupidity and the fact a bottle of concentrate i had was identical to the bottles of ready made eliquid the same company makes i once filled a Kanger Subtank with concentrate and took 2 or 3 big hefty pulls on it.
It produced zero visible vapour, the flavour base was 100% PG so i don't see there being an issue in terms of big clouds floating about by making 100% PG juice, i would guess the added distilled water in the Clear Steam stuff is to knock down the throat hit a little.

snow I've got the tin of clear stream unused for yonks back when it was freebie/cheap deal but its likely to be horrendously out of date, it is in a tin so in the dark in a cool place so I'm happy to post it to you if you're very laid back about use by dates?

If you do make your own as a back up snow . . . . I'd start with 3-5% water, otherwise your end mix will be quite runny and you could end up with the GS Air leaking. Hospitals tend to be overly warm places as it is, which naturally tends to keep eliquid ' fluid '.

theve got the backy flavour in stock snow and i know it doesnt help much but 15% off using POTV15 brings a bottle

I can't stand Baccy flavours these days - hard for me to grasp given that I was such a heavy smoker for so long lol I had the menthol and banana ones previously seems like lately they only have baccy or menthol and the menthol is out of stock.

I'm fine with dates but as I said to MrDJ I don't vape tobacco flavors lol 

I think I'm going to mix myself a batch of 100% pg and see if that works.

I think you'll be onto a winner with a very high PG, snow, reducing VG has certainly had an impact on the amount of vapour my juices produce.

I guess it would be easy enough to knock up your own blends of PG/water (20/80 -> 80/20) with no nic or flavour and test in a dripper to see which gives an "invisible" vape.

I'v often wondered what a 100% water juice might taste like, probably horrible...

I tend to find that using an all PG stealth mix for over an hour or two badly upsets the skin on my lips

I think you are right.. I bought some clearsteam thinking it was something special. It does however seem to be 90% PG with 10% distilled water.

I've not tried making any DIY but I'm guessing it would work.. the water must be to reduce the throat hit.
