I agree with Perf, it will be fascinating to see how this plays out.
For me in an ideal world, I hope it goes ahead & Tesco just stocks a limited range that sells well & makes the e-cig mainstream. And hopefully it won't put our current vendors out of business as we will still be using them for the better models, juices & accessories. (As long as the MHRA don't step in).

CKC - would be interested to know how good it is. I think that anyone looking at an alternative to smoking need to hit the button first time re: vaping. One bad experience, and they will never consider it again. Thus it would be wonderful if this product is good enough to please - and thus another comitted convert.
Thanks for posting. I am going to print and add it to my little collection of info for my GP.

So true, Hanow. Some people are willing to give it a chance and try different gear if it doesn't work out first time, but most are not. And many will look at the list of ingredients and leave it on the shelf out of ignorance (not in the insulting sense of that word). scylla

I also completely agree with Hanow. Ckc, £7.00 a shot for something they claim last for the equivalent of 30 real cigs, isn't exactly cheap is it?

No Chrissie it isn't.But at £7 if you knew no different and it works you would be happy to carry on with the health advantages.

Yep Ckc & hopefully some might even end up doing some research after trying one & find better I really do hope they sell well so that Tesco keep stocking them. It could be our biggest boost to get vaping more mainstream.

Well, I've had an interview for a job in Holland & Barrett today . . . . . and ended up demonstrating my ecig to the girl who interviewed me. If I don't get the job I shan't know what to blame, but if I do it might well be my first 'business' mission.

Awww, thanks Scylla. After 20 years of being self employed I've turned into a very demanding potential employee.

Can a disposable e-cig really last for the equivalent of 30 cigs ??
About a year ago I bought an Njoy Npro, which claimed that the carts lasted for the equivalent of 12 cigarettes - I found it was more like 2 or 3 at best. (The website is still selling them, and still making the same claim). I quickly gave it up as a bad job.
Fortunately I found this site a month ago via an Ebay forum post, saw the TECC sale mentioned, bought a Tornado or 3... and have now not had a real cig for 20 days, 12 hours and 30 minutes (not that I'm counting... )
My point is that, if the Tesco e-cig doesn't do what it claims, it could put a lot of people off, which would be a shame.

Brilliant news Stan and huge congratulations on your vaping. It's kinda a double edged sword isn't it if Tescos do stock them, on the one hand you have a very powerful organisation's clout and on the other the brands they may or may not choose might not be the best to give a potential convert the best possible experience.

Good luck from me as well Perpy Stan,I'm also wondering how the disposable can last for 30 cigs & worry it will put people off trying other models. So pleased to hear you are doing so well
