There doesn't appear to be any news that Tesco are definitely going ahead with plans to stock an e-cig model. It seems a little premature of them in view of the EU's latest proposals for their re-designation as tobacco products. Has anyone else heard that they are?

Well it says on the last link:-

The product is now on sale in stores and the entrepreneurial duo have signed up Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock, the ex-Liverpool defender for the official launch of the product in the Crewe Tesco store in Vernon Way on Thursday, September 30, at 9.30am.

They aren't illegal or anything so i guess they're going with it.Maybe they signed the contract before the EU consultation appeared.

I truly can't see such a huge coporation as Tesco going to all the bother of launching ecigs in their stores if they felt they were going to be short lived.

I could be wrong, but most retailers want to sell items that give their customers and them a hassle free experience.
