They do sell basic starter kits at 24.99 with just one atty and one batty. I'm guessing this is what they will be peddling through Mr T's too.

"The Drum" is a design and marketing magazine and Zeus are the PR agency who have the contract to launch 10motives ecigs.

They are nicotine ciggies, with what looks like 18mg being their high - they sell a pack of 5 replacement pre-filled cart for 2.50, claiming each lasts the same time as 10 cigarettes. Can't see any juice on their site.

But it's fantastic news that Tesco are going to back the e-cig, even if they haven't chosen the ideal model. Possibly they couldn't put a stranglehold on a 901 or 510 to be able to get their money back on returns ???

I said Tescopoly would start selling E-cigs on ECF - a few weeks later, they do just that !! (If anybody wants next weeks lottery numbers, just let me know !! )

This is without question the best news Vaping has ever had !! Finally E-cigs have some real "muscle" on their side !!

Tescopoly has probably had some insider meetings with the GovernMentals and struck a workable compromise - no doubt this will include some form of Taxation at some point in the future ...... seems to be just a test run right now as they've gone for a crappy disposable model - but if successful, I wouldn't be surprised if they send a few suits over to China to buy a bajillion units from the likes of Joye and Smoore .......

Of course it's not all good news - naturally Tescopoly will do what it always does and kill off the competition ...... so what is great for us Vapers is not gonna be so great for the current Vendors ......

Even worse, this may indicate a cosy deal being made with the MHRA, who will merrily hand the entire market over to the "Big Boys" by forcing through some kind of licensing agreement that has a price tag so high, only the large corporations could ever afford it .......

Then again, the timing of this announcement could just be a coincidence and ultimately premature - WalMart in America also started stocking E-cigs but then quickly pulled them off the shelves ....... no doubt due to pressure from Tobacco etc !!

However, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully this really does come to fruition and finally makes Vaping mainstream and legitimate !! Hurrah !!

It'll be fascinating to see how this plays out and what all the vested interests have planned to either support or oppose it !!

I wonder how many other companies are waiting to jump on board too - and if they will eventually sell Juice at the Tobacco counter at £4.99 a bottle - or sell it at the Pharmacy counter for £24.99 a bottle ?!

Good news indeed although I would have been pleased to see some liquid nic; I seem to recall some discussion way back indicating that only tamperproof cartridges would be considered as we [public] can't be trusted not to poison ourselves.

I believe cartomisers (glued capped ones) are considered inherantly tamper-proof/child-proof by nature of their design so maybe that's how they're getting past that issue - if indeed they've even got anywhere near that stage yet.
If they are normal carts, they'd have to be packaged in CHIP compliant push-down pill bottles with all appropriate CHIP compliant labelling to get past trading standards.
