wonder if there's something i could paint on it to stop it doing that? Clear nail varnish might do the trick Lilac. |

Would a clear varnish, like you can get for tiles/wood be safe to use?
The brass is showing through really clearly.

this isnt happening Lilac!!!! Nickel will leave bronze but after some years. Then we can nickel plated again . But in a week???

I cant imagine how that happened, its very very strange. But because GG is not made like this I will immediately ask Cam to send you a new one Lilac.
ps... the only I can think is that nickel was not stuck well on that GGTB

Isn't it? fabulous guy I think he's right bout the nickel not being bonded properly, cos i was looking at a pic someone posted on ECF of their old GGTB that had been rumbling around in their pocket at work with tools n such, since they'd had it, and it looked great compared to mine.... just found i have a macro setting on my phone's camera... |

I ordered the brass one so no plating to worry about.
