If cam has already contact you and he still have brass in stock then yes ask him for a brass one Lilac, no problem.

For all the friends that have the nickel version, please dont polish it with the cream we usually use like the autosol etc because it affects the nickel. Nickel doesnt need creams to get shiny, only water and a cloth

After reading a tip of yours somewhere on ECF about vaseline, i've put a smear of it on the centre pole in the bottom cap as well as the contact surface of the button and it's vaping much better, even with just a normal 901 atty

Imeo, just to make you smile, I want to let you know that my GGTS looks even better than the day I bought it. I only give it an occasional wipe so like my GG Grant, it has developed the most beautiful patina

dont forget Lilac that vaseline is used to make threads softer and to protect them, its not a good contuctor. Dont put vaseline between contacts, put only on moving parts. The contacts need only cream like autosol for cleaning purposes. You GG vapes better maybe because you push the button harder with vaseline now

I am glad sweety if you like it that way. Please dont forget to clean with autosol the contacts and all the threads and put vaseline on the threads

I don't do anything to my GG's I have to confess other than give them a wipe over with a lint free cloth and a dab of that Noalox stuff on the threads, every once in a while.

LOL, i don't normally polish anything, i haven't polished or even wiped the Mako since i got it, just stick some kitchen towel down in the atomiser connection to clean any juice out, but i was trying to get the fingermarks off the GG, little did i know i would be making it worse

i was a bit embarrassed after posting that last pic, cos you can see the dust on my lappy keyboard i'll just blame the parrot

I do the same for you as someone who knows about history would do for me lilac my dear, nothing more. I was a bad student on history lesson.

perp, try vaseline instead of noalox, so you will avoid traces that noalox leaves and you will protect the threads too. Only if you notice a contact problem you can use noalox. But if you are happy with noalox then dont change anything buddy

Just one point to make about the brass version....it is heavier than an alluminium one.
(I'm fairly certain that I have spelled that wrongly!)
I don't know what the nickel was plated on.
Probably a pointless remark on my part but I blame it on working nights!!
