Are vapers becoming more addicted to nicotine?

I find that the main problem with vaping is that, with a cigarette, it ends once you`ve smoked it down to the filter.... whereas with my E-Cig, I never find a natural time to put it back in my pocket!.

I must admit that i LOVE throat hit and for me personally i find 36mg liquid REALLY does perk up any e-cig set up.All this plumes of vapour and smoke rings is a scam.Ive also seen alot of people doing this and they tend to inhale between 4 and 6 times to blow a few smoke rings.Ive done this out of curiosity and killed an atty,it got that hot.I think it is a scam to get more sales and all newbies should avoid doing this.Also as others have said an LR atty/carto at 3.7v,2-3 second draw is the PERFECT combination

I do admit that i was a chain smoker and am exactly like perpy.If i can vape,I VAPE like a train.If im doing somat else then i do not get ratty assed,grumpy and a nightmare to be around like i did with using analogs.I think vapeing is absolutely FANTASTIC and have converted many people to it.I REALLY beleive its saved my life,as with analogs,cannabis etc i was loseing the ability to breath.Now i can honestly say that I FEEL,LOOK,and SMELL a hell of alot better.Keep on vapeing people.

I no longer get the urge to chuck an ashtray through the TV or to search through my pockets looking for dog-ends, nor do I wish to bite my fellow shoppers if I can't smoke/vape.

I do get peculiar flutterings if I haven't vaped for a bit and, yes, I do now use stronger hitting atomizers (TW mega cartomizers) as I got fed up with constantly refilling carts and the feeble wisps produced by some of my early e-cigs. I reckon if I ever returned to tobacco use I'd likely go for fat Havana cigars!!

Frankly I'm not bothered about nicotine dependence as I'd already fallen 'victim' to that as a (heavy) smoker; I now feel I'm doing myself far less harm as a vaper, heavy or otherwise. I know this because of the way I feel in myself - no one knows me better than I know myself.

If I decide to give up nicotine for any health reason, I shall also need to give up tea and coffee as nicotine use has a similar affect on the body as does caffeine. It is for this reason I've cut down on my caffeine intake - slightly!

Hi Fox,I could not agree more with all you said.I must also add that i am a great believer that just taking in nicotine and a little PG/VG and flavour will never hurt anyone.I know some people can be sensitive to PG BUT,Did they ever moan about being sensitive while they were inhaling gas chamber poisons,carbon monoxide and the other 3998 chemicals that are in ciggies?If you can vape and feel so well with extra high 36mg e-liquid(which i do) then i really dont understand what all this crap is about when people say its unsafe and should be banned.I think they should give an e-cig to all these poor people that you see that struggle out of hospitals attached to a drip or in a wheelchair to get their nicotine.Do the goverment want to save or kill people.The only reason they want it banned is because the cigarette revenue globally will fall dramatically and they have become so accustomed to the billions of pounds from cigarette sales.Kill cigarette use,VAPE AND PROMOTE VAPEING,that really is all i have left to say.

whether or not people are or are not becoming more ADDICTED to nicotine is neither here not there

gthe important thing is that they are no longer killing themselves and otherer around them

OK OK I KNOW there is not proof to that fact but i know how i feel now and how i felt when i smoked

I can sing and extra octive highter now , i can taste, i can breathe, i dont cough, i dont catch the cold as much, my clothes and mouth smell so much better AND my walls and celling are white not yelow

so if i like nocttine better now that then I DO NOT GIVE A DAM

You've reminded me of when I gave up smoking for 2 months-ish in the early 80s - I could sing higher too, and clearly, and I could whistle.

This time, however, the damage is taking so much longer to repair. Even after 2 years I still can't sing, but I just now tried to whistle and it worked

Actually, I just had another go at singing and it's not half as bad as a few months ago - I'd given up trying

i can usae it one day then not touch for 3 or 4 days

I'm sort of similar to you Lynda, I've used no nic juice and have to say it really doesn't bother me. I don't think I need the nicotine, rather the feel of the smoke etc.,

Whilst in Egypt I was using the Shisha pipe, tons of lovely smoke / vapour, no nic at all. For me it's about the hand to mouth and the feel/taste of the vapour.

I was very disappointed to find that Shisha is more dangerous than ciggies, evidently the level of carbon monoxide after using Shisha is 4 times higher than normal, would be interesting to find if ecigs are similar?

It's about the most positive thing I've read about vaping I think Dee.

The night went extremely well, although I have a slight 'head' today, can't think why.
