Phew! a narrow escape, Chrissie I hope you don't decide you can manage one cat for each finger, cos on that logic you could end up with 20! I'm going to snip Kezie from the lap photo, she looks gawjuss I watched the Celia/Pat cat rescue programme. Celia was in all the glossy mags at the time when I took an interest in such things. It's good to see she has stayed natural. How much longer can she go on? Who will take over? ??? How selfish and inconsiderate a lot of her "customers" are > I was a disappointed they didn't show more of the practical and financial aspects of caring for so many vulnerable creatures. Does Pat have a charitable vet? My cat lady runs up ££££ bills and after my experience with Sushi I can see how easy it is. The RSPCA's powers have been slightly strengthened recently but they should have the power of arrest, trial and execution, IMO. Well, you know what I mean. Those dear flea-ridden kittens were heart-breaking scylla

O weren't they just Scylla, so sad. Celia Hammond reminds me very much of Bridget Bardot. Lovely pictures of your brood Chris. I watched Animal 24/7 on IPlayer the other night and there was a poorly Maine Coon kitty on there . . . . . it was HOOGE!

MM, I'm feeling so sad that I did stay firm Scylla, the vets fees are a killer. So far this year I've paid them over £1,400.00 & still got Jasmine to be chipped (had Sasha done while being dematted) Isaac & Sam need their boosters & Kezie due to be spayed. Perpy MC's are a tad on the large size Must check out i-player for that episode of animal rescue.

Perpy MC's are a tad on the large size Must check out i-player for that episode of animal rescue. It was like a small LION Chris , gurt beast of a kitty! That's horrific, your veterinary costs, no small wonder animals are being off loaded into re homing centres, last time I took Sammy to the vet's it cost £18 for 3 tablets which I thought extortionate. I wonder if you'll be making a phone call tomorrow . . . .

Perpy, I'm too tired to go back & check if I've already posted this pic of me holding Isaac, so apologies if you have already seen it. He isn't completely stretched out in the pic but it does sort of give you an idea of his size. Lol just to put things into proportion I'm just a tad under 5'8" tall

Thanks Chrissie.
I am totally devestated as I was expecting them to live at least another year or so.
The remaining gerbils seem a bit unsettled. Hopefully they'll settle down abit.
