I'm also looking forward to hearing how you are getting on with your SD Lolli I've just had a phone call from someone at the Council ......................... .............. to tell me I have won £50.00 in supermarket vouchers A few weeks ago, outside Tesco's, they were handing out cards to try to encourage more people to use the kerbside recycling scheme. You filled in the top bit with your details & handed it back to them & put the larger bit in the top of your paper recycling bag. Mine was the first to be pulled out at random back at the depot Lol, I actually feel a tad guilty as I didn't need any encouragement concerning recycling as I've been doing it for years.

Ooooo thats lovely Chrissie SO pleased for you Def DON'T feel guilty tho - you deserve it !! If they're anything like our local council they waste so much £££ on mistakes anyway!!! They put 8 traffic calmers in fairly near us - few weeks later altered them - next look, they were removing them - sort of stuff happens all the time here Getting on with "battery in case" (aka SD ) just fine. Button bit temperamental !! 'Course it took a while to realise I had to pull the 2 strange metal bits out (didn't even notice them) -then somewhat longer to find something for it to go into!! Fortunately my travel kettle adapter thingy came into its own - except - THAT, in turn, only goes into a lamp fitting so its all a bit Heath Robinson! Anyway taking it out later - nice not to have to change batteries How long do you get out of a 901 atty (fairly heavy use) on average??

Thanks Lolli By "I had to pull the 2 strange metal bits out" do you mean you have adjusted the metal prongs on the battery charger? If so, that's fine. Also make sure you put the battery the right way round in the charger. As for an adapter, the shaver adapters that you can buy from most £1.00 shops are what most people use Q "How long do you get out of a 901 atty (fairly heavy use) on average??" A. How long is a piece of string Seriously though. I've had some 901 atties last me months, most several weeks & the odd one only a few days.

Well............... I wouldn't call it "adjusting metal prongs" - more like DISCOVERING them embedded in the plastic bit Must have turned the thing over 20 times looking for anything plugable-inable They're dead flat with little holes in 'em! Hadn't a clue wot to do with it till I remembered my travel adapter Don't see how one of those shaving adapters would take it ??? (ROFL 'cause know I'm way past praying for but did get battie in right way round ) Why oh why cant they make atties that screw onto cases that in turn hold NICE NORMAL BATTERIES that I can get in Sainsburys ??? vapes well tho when switch co operates!

Lolli, i use a shaving adapter too, didn't buy one, just used the one i use to charge my electric toothbrush, it does fit altho it was a bit tight... I tried your screwdriver when i had it, no point sending you one that was faulty...and it was fine, altho i've had to tighten my screw already so maybe yours has worked a bit loose due to all the travelling it's done

Re atties, the original 2 i got from TW with my starter kits (bought 2) have lasted me for months, altho not heavy use for 1st few weeks as i was still smoking as well, but one from Vape 88 started overheating badly after only 2 puffs after only a few uses, so it went in the bin... Chrissie....well done, don't feel guilty, just go spend them...lol

Tightened the screw up - seems fine must've loosened in transit as you said (PO had it long enough after all ) Realise it wouldn't appeal to everyone, but I'd be very happy with AA x3 batteries - so .................local Checked e bay link - got 3 of those already but the holes are the wrong shape aren't they ??? Charger prongs are flat ???

Have a look at the ones you've got, Lolli, at first glance, the holes in mine were round, but they have a squared off side, so the flat prongs fit in...

watched Marley & Me tonight....was sobbing( Awww, I haven't seen it but I bet I'd be blubbing too I saw the real "Me" couple on The Dog Whisperer - they called in Cesar Milan to help with Marley's replacement, another labbie IRRC. CONGRATULATIONS, Chrissie - what can you buy? BTW, sometimes hitting F11 toggles wireless on/off. I actually came here to apologise for "quietude". I am scatterbraining all over the place today. I have 3 bottles of Cappuccino in my cart at Janty France (following Keef's post in Suppliers) trying to decide what else to put in, and whether I should be ordering anything at all... but the thing that's discombobulated me most of all is that eBay have sent me a voucher They did this before to my scyllabub posting ID and another 0-feedback one I used for chasing Chanel scammers, but it was only 10% so I didn't bother with it. But now they sent a 20% one to the Chanel ID *eek* and I wanted a new telly for the World Cup, but I also wanted audio, so I'm running around like a blue-ass fly. Being sensible now - I can't have the telly because my existing one is too big and heavy to move, so that's that. But I could get audio to improve the sound of my CRT - isn't it awful how voices are drowned out these days, either by background music, or fashionable mumbling, or getting-old earoles I freecycled my hifi when Bro came to make room in my lounge units for his groceries By the way, I've just discovered that the new Opera is lightning fast compared to Firefox - but in fairness my Ff is probably cluttered up a bit with Google toolbar and several add-ons. But in Opera eBay is so much faster to navigate and my mouse is much more responsive. I'm going to try All-About in it too, I do find it rather slow, even in Google Chrome browser. I don't understand the first thing about audio, and my voucher expires on the 28th - and Bro will glower at me for spending money and I need a new bed *YOWWWWWWLLLL* Can anyone identify this flower for me? I know what it is, I just can't remember the word: scylla

Lolli, Lilac is right, though the holes look the wrong shape, the prongs of the charger do fit.
Scylla, I thought it was just me re having a problem with background music on the TV drowning out voices.
Lol, when I first looked at the piccie i thought it was an oriental poppy, but I think Lilac is right.
