Scyll, it is a beautiful Anemone!! I was going to comment on it before I saw your question. I have painted them many times - lovely colours and they get into lovely shapes. If I could be bothered to upload a pic to PB and then back in here, I would do!! MM

Ooooo! Those are lovely. Very similar to Anemones - is it another name for them? Although I have painted them as well, they are much bigger and taller than Anemones. MM

No MM it's not another name for Anemones, their true name is Papaver Orientale & yes they are a lot larger than Anemones

Lolli, going back to you saying you would be happy with 3 x AA ordinary batteries, you would need something like this : - Then you would have a problem with battery life. Because as soon as you put 2 batteries together, it reduces the time by half for when they need recharging so with 3 it would be ven worse.

I am completely convinced after seeing that pic Chrissie - no longer lusting after AA batties!! Lilac said also, that those £1 adapters didn't look like they'd accommodate the SD charger - look the wrong shape entirely! (altho' they do!) BTW I AM LOVING THE SCREWDRIVER ACTION "Marley & me" - one of my fave films - need large box of tissues handy! - seen it twice now. The first time was 1 week after my daughter got her little golden lab puppy That film was like a glimpse of the future! The reality has not been that different - this week the 2nd dog flap has been wrecked, half the garden is in the hall, BT are coming to repair the phone wire, the garden lights are no more! & the cat (who is gorgeous) looks on in disgust & turns her back. But still she's only a (v large ) puppy! The flower photos are truly lovely BTW Enjoy your days off Lilac

You can tell we're old - no spelling mistakes for AMENOMIES We got specially taught at school, didn't we? My lab ate the mattress of a truly beautiful vintage divan bed my stepmum had only just given me; and my black patent court shoes, the only ones I could walk in that fitted in with the glamour-pusses in my workplace, so I had new heels put on and wore them with bite-marks Of course, those are just two stand-out items, there was a LOT more damage - he was so welcome though, RIP scylla

wot postage would you go for on the Janty site ??? I was trying to decide last night when I almost ordered - because there was a 4euro difference I intended to go for the cheap option, but I was worried about doing so. In the end I didn't order anything.
All my smilies are nicked already You're welcome to re-nick. scylla

I was browsing the Co-op's website (they're a bit more "ethical" than some, supposedly) and came across their petition to get the Govt to check pesticides that are helping to murder our bees (as if the varroa mite wasn't bad enough), and I thought I'd put a link here in case anyone would like to sign: www.co-operative.coop/ethicsinaction/takeaction/planbee/scylla
