Thanks Queenie I mainly dabble with beads and some chainmaille, so I don't think we're competing, lol. Have you ever made toggle clasps in your metalwork?

I'm a right fatty anyway and snacking is a bad habit, but with the vaping I still get the hand to mouth thing going on (which I think is part of the problem with weight gain when quitting). I haven't put on any weight at all since quitting

We've got ours in a sewing box, which flips out in layers - pretty cool, but filling up fast!

They should be okay from Vape Escape - I have some from them that have been on the go for almost 2 months. Unlucky batch perhaps ???

I don't wear much jewellery, just a couple of things I made myself or sometimes things I've bought that others have made to my specifications. I mainly work in beads, and have sometimes had to make sure there's no metal elements cos folks are allergic. I've added a gallery with some of my own hand made jewellery (hope you don't mind Queenie my sharing that in your thread).

I leave mine laying down so's the wick stays wet. As long as the mouthpiece is screwed in properly (but not overtight cos that can squash the wick and make for a harder draw) then it shouldn't leak from the mouthpiece.

It's probably juice down the middle, as the others have said. Always keep a tissue handy just in case and wipe off your battery connector when this happens too, as well as the bottom of the clearomiser (just make a wee hump of tissue and stick it up the skirt of the clearo ). When you've just cleaned one out it can take a few draws to wick the fluid in properly. I just 'chuff' without inhaling until there's a decent vapour production and then I'm usually good to go.

Nice work Queenie! I should think you'll get some sales. Mind you I know it's very difficult at the moment to get sales in jewellery, so don't get disheartened. You have a talent

I rarely actually inhale to my lungs anymore - just into my mouth and out through my nose. This gives me the hit I need, and hopefully saves my lungs anymore labouring

Hi Ripple Most people want to start with something that looks like a real cig but very quickly (in my case it took me four days ) move on to something with a better battery life and easier refilling options. I would suggest the Riva as a battery lasts me all day. Also clearomisers are great for starting out as they hold more e-liquid and are very easy to fill and clean. Ask and we shall deliver answers (and laughs)

Welcome gjdart I won't add much else cos you've already been given the usual great advice from other members. I never even thought about giving up the cigs - I just wanted to see if an e-cig was any good - and here I am still quit smoking 2 months later. Even my confirmed smoker husband quit and stayed quit - which he's never done before.
