Hey Guy's, just wanted to say hello.. I've been a smoker for 40 years and just this morning have received my Skycig starter pack (which I think after reading through some of the posts on here and elsewhere is probably my first mistake) lol!... Well we've got to start somewhere I suppose. Just charging the pack at the moment then hopefully I can kick the dreaded weed into touch at last. Next thing I need to do is learn your language as most of it is double dutch to this techno-phobic old fart! Hope you will all wish me luck on my latest attempt to give up fags for good. Have a great day all

Hello & a warm welcome from me Gjdart. I wouldn't say you've made a complete mistake . . . there are better kits out there, but your Skycig will give you an indication of how marvellous ecigs can be . . . most of us started off with a look alikey. Any questions you may have, or anything you don't understand . . . just shout, we'll be only to happy to guide you through the wonderful world of vaping. Good luck to you.

Hi gjdart - good to meet you! I am a newbie aswell but I actually have both a Skycig and a Riva. The Skycig isn't that bad in my opinion and is better for when you are out and about - it doesn't give you as good a draw but it does the job (also better if you like to have a vape when driving - not that I condone doing that! ). The hardest thing I have found is trying to find the best e-liquid to suit your taste. I'm a week into vaping and still haven't 100% settled on my favourite flavour Don't worry about the language, you will soon pick it up. Good luck with it all!

Hey Gjdart, welcome, If the skycig is helping you get off the cigs it was a good start. I started with E-lites and quicked moved to a Riva too, like Richt. These guys are really friendly & helpful

The hardest thing I have found is trying to find the best e-liquid to suit your taste. I'm a week into vaping and still haven't 100% settled on my favourite flavour Spot on . . . it can take weeks, if not months to find that Richt as your taste buds do take time to recover from the effects of smoking I'm afraid. Flavours I once found pleasant, I can't stand now and vice versa. In the beginning I think we are on a quest to find that elusive tobacco type flavour . . . and as time goes on, that can become less of a mission.

Please do . . . we all started like you, personally I never thought that I'd get to grips with it all . . . being a non technical lady of mature years shall I say. But! You'll be surprised how quickly the information does all sink in, really you will . . . the important thing is to not try and absorb too much at once, get to grips with one thing and then move on a bit at a time. We'll be here to help you.

Hi, and #welcome2# gjdart Good luck with your Sky cig I started with an E-lite, in January, and quickly moved on to a Riva, but the E-Lite was enough to make me realise that this was the road that I wanted to take, and that I COULD actually give up the nasties, which I didn't think was possible, before. Lol We've all been in your situation, so know how you're feeling about getting to grips with all the jargon and kit, but you just have to ask and someone will be able to help you We're a really friendly.....if slightly loopy....bunch, so jump on in #icon_rofl#
