But remember the OP saying "our method is used at 9 watts and our current setup wont allow much higher wattage"? I'm guessing their device of choice simply doesn't deliver as well as some. That, and his wife is having some apparent struggles using their current 18 mg/ml strength.

I certainly have heard of folk using far stronger nic ratios than I'm comfortable with and without apparent issue. In my early days, on EVODS @ 7 to 8 watts, I did have one setup running 36 mg/ml for "those times". Not regular use, mind, just occasional.

That said, my caution does agree with you. That is to say to ragjoy - please be careful with that sort of a step up in strength from what you are using now. Maybe consider some midway strength between your present 18 mg/ml and your suggested 36 mg/ml - and 24 mg/ml sounds like somewhere in the middle to me. And watch for any signs of overdoing the nic.

Certainly I wish her well - but I do agree with the need for some caution in how strong a nic ratio to try.

Maybe, too, it's not the nic she is having issue with, but something else from the smokes - the "WTA" element (*).


* - Whole Tobacco Alcoloids - other stuff in tobacco we ingest that some of us miss when withdrawing. Basically - ATOSIT, or All The Other Shit In Tobacco.

I've heard of the rubber glove trick but have never tried it myself.

What I've had success with, though, is using those silicone tank bands. They provide a bit more grip and certainly have helped me out on several occasions.
