Don't worry about the initial outlay, it'll be fine. Got a bit saved up ;-)
I've got 3 orders so far. Plus whatever I decide to get myself.

Looks nice, looks nice? It looks like some of sort of medical intervention contraption!
Seriously, could you justify spending that amount? That sounds silly, knowing how much I personally spent on cigs weekly and justifying it to myself each week, but if you keep going it can cost more than "normal" smoking with everything you can buy. That's why I found it so confusing when starting as to what I actually needed just to get going with my first e-cig.
Do most folks on here have numerous different "instruments" and why? I'm interested, and I think the other newbies would be. I have/had enough trouble keeping my Riva going - with 2 batteries, 2 atties and a box of 10 carts, half of whch didn't fit!
I've just fired up a new attie, with some of Jakis blue filler and I'm now in heaven!

I had a bit of a crisis last night, no matter what I did, changing atties, batteries, carts, washed filler, etc., nothing seemed to be coming through. I washed the two atties that came with the Riva and left them overnight to dry. I used the LR attie I had, (I had used it previously but noticed no difference in hit) as that was the only one that worked.
The good news is that, all this time, I didn't give in and reach for the normal fags, and to be honest I wasn't panicking as I would have been if I had run out of cigs.
I left my e-cig as it was and have been using it all morning. But I reckon the two normal atties have had it, nothing coming through. I do admit I was a bit rushed so will experiment more this evening and see if I can get them to work. Or have I burnt them out already? Used from 19th June.
The other good news is that my 5 new atties arrived in the post, so another quick delivery and I won't be without anything.
When I compile the Eastmall order, I will be ordering another complete Riva kit, so that I'm ready for anything....unless folks recommend I try another type of e-cig?
I have only had one analogue today, just after I got up because of last nights troubles and not having an e-cig ready "to go". I haven't been outside for one as I normally would, which is just as well as it's raining today!
Feeling all smug and proud now!

Hi everybody, There was a suggestion yesterday that we band together and get a bulk order of items we need/want from Eastmall. Hence I've started a new thread for those that might have missed our initial chat. I have volunteered my services to organise this. My suggestions for how we go about it were for those interested to PM me with a list of what they require. Put your requirements in detail, with link if possible, so there is no confusion on my part about possibly ordering the incorrect item. Also put your name and address at the same time. I can then compile the bulk order and process it via their website as they take Paypal. I will pay for all of it, then when the items arrive, will sort out and distribute, enclosing an "invoice" of what each of you owes me. You can then either pay me via Paypal, cheque, bank transfer....whatever! Please be aware that there may be customs charges involved here, so won't be quite as much savings to be had if that happens. Eastmall charges in US dollars, so there may be some exchange rate differences from when you order via me, and I order via them, if you see what I mean. Does all the above sound OK? Let me know if there is something I've not thought of. Link to Eastmall, for those that don't have it. www.eastmall.net/Kath

Lilac, I don't know anything about Healthcabin, as that must ahve been before I joined the forum. I'll check both websites in the morning and do some comparisons along with posting a new thread about this.

P.S. And just so you all know, this is the park I manage along with my OH, Alex. So you now have my contact details. (Don't email through the link on there though, as it doesn't always get through and I won't be able to answer from my private PC upstairs in the evenings. ) www.garreggochpark.co.uk/

Bu**er, I did the order for the spare atties without seeing the China link. Should have waited a while?
OK, go on then....I'll volunteer to do the bulk order if everyone would like me to? I know I've only been a member here for a couple of weeks, but Scylla can vouch for me (I hope?) as an ok person and trustworthy.
Should I start a fresh thread with details of what we want to do, in case others want to join in? I think the best thing to do then is for you all to PM/email me with your requirements. I'll order the stuff, and pay and when it arrives send it to each individual with what the actual UK cost exchanges to, according to what we've been charged. The only downside is that we might get charged import duty/VAT etc? So might not be quite as big a saving.
I notice they take Paypal, again makes it easy. And if others have Paypal, I'm happy for you all to pay that way, or via cheque, bank transfer, whatever.
It's easy for me to do, living and working at the same place, having access to PC upstairs and down. The Postman calls every day to pick up our outgoing stuff, and the PO is a couple of hundred yards away.
Let me know what you think.

I don't have anything else to compare it to James. It was my first purchase. I love it. I went for that after reading the reviews about it, and the long lasting battery. Looking later at the others and those with the flattened tips, I am glad I got the Riva.
It's obvioulsy not intentioned for the UK market because of the way you re-charge, they send an adaptor with the kits so you can charge from British mains.

I don't think the colour does matter really, but it's just me wanting it to look right, even though you can't see them, if you know what I mean!
On Liberty it states multipacks of black 501's are out of stock. I haven't got hold of any yet.
Yeah, I don't want to be left without any means of vaping after doing so well this past week or so. I am frightened to death of something not working or breaking.

OK, I'll try the washing technique tomorrow. Maybe I messed up when I first got the kit and faffed around so much. A good wash might sort them out. I just started a new thread about getting spare atties so that with my new found knowledge after being back on the net (couldn't read any hints and tips while I was away) I can get it all working better for me.
Like you, I assume all will be well in the not too distant future, or it won't matter as much and we'll be considered "experts" soon!

I need to order some spare atomizers, but Liberty and a couple of other places I looked have sold out. I have a Riva, what do I need to get? It's a 510 compatible? Cheap - multipack. Ones that let lots of vape and hit through please. Black for me, white for OH.
And maybe a spare battery each.
Thanks.

Please don't give up any of you. I am not convinced I am doing everything "right", but I still keep going! Sometimes I get good throat hits - which is what I crave all the time - but lots of times it just does not seem to work as well as at other times. I've read all the info on Jaki's guides, and picking up other hints and tips on how to fill, the noises the attie makes etc.
The thought of one nice "hit" in every 5 or so keeps me going and I am so proud of myself. Only 5 ciggies today, but I am overjoyed with that.
I am also finding I'm not craving ciggies like I did last week, nor vaping as much either and I can actually put it down for a short while now!
I have just this minute taken all the filling out of my cartridges I was experimenting with (can't remember what juice I put in them!) and washed them ready for sticking to the one I like which arrived this morning. I'm also going to swap my battery more often, as even though it doesn't flash to tell me it needs charging, I know it's not at it's best.
For all of us, Nana, Hanow, Judy etc.....it's still very early days and we should all be happy and proud.
