Lyn - I hadn't realised just how much watching a video used up of my allowance. Firstly, didn't know I had an 'allowance' - which was 10 wotsit-thingies. But, found that watching the birdies' videos, endlessly, daily, rapidly etc. used up the mega-doodah-wotsit allowance. If you ring to moan, ask for explanation etc. keep on at whoever (in Bangladesh, Delhi, Calcutta - I spoke to all of them ???. But kept asking for a helpul supervisor to discuss my package. I finally got patched to someone in UK, where I was able to moan and whinge - and they understood! Having then waved the potential for me moving to Virgin, Aol etc. - saying that I had investigated 'their' costs/allowance, compared to the 'carp' version I was apparently getting from BT (all said sweetly of course ) he then offered me an upgrade that cost very little extra. So, keep moaning until you speak to someone here. Then wave other providers under their nose. Good luck, off to take ugly pooch to vet. Something wrong with his fur/skin - not nice! Mega bill on its way for that no doubt! > Hugs x

I am IE - now 9 - wish I hadn't! > But, of interest, I had numerous problems yesterday with all kinds of sites, not just this one. I had the same blank bits/slow loading on ebay as well as a couple of shopping sites. That said, I have no idea who/what to blame. I usually balme myself! :-[

Gorgeous pics Scylla - you are such a clever techie person. I have enough problems using my idiot's camera to take a pic, upload it to my pooter, and manage to send it for printing! Even I think I am stoopid when it comes to 'simple'! :-[ The birds that come to my garden every morning - and into the house if I am not quick off the mark > - are costing me a fortune in seed, sultanas and breadcrumbs. I could afford M&S ready cooked super-dooper meals if I wasn't spending so much keeping this lot going! I regularly get circa 60-80 birds daily - several times daily in fact - who are now bringing their babies! Alfred Hitchcock scene or what? The robin was on my kitchen work-top this morning.

I watched last evening (Ospreys) - and mum was feeding the biggie 10 times as much as littley, despite her constant attempts to get some. She is obviously getting enough to keep her going, and mum is a real trooper when it comes to 'sharing'. Unfortunately she just hasn't learned: one for you, then one for you! Have you been watching BBCs Springwatch? Last night was heartbreaking - a nest of babies (four of them) now all dead. A new mum - who kept leaving the nest for too long, babies got cold thus didn't open mouths for food, food arrived, 'sleeping/cold' babies' - parents apparently new and not quite comprehending what the babies needed etc. So sad, because I am sure they were doing their best. Isn't nature cruel at times? MM - good luck with your exhibition. Hope you get it all togather - am sure you will.

I have also noted an increase in chestiness when using LRs. I too agree with you Ian - we all do know our bodies. I certainly know that vaping isn't trouble free. It is interesting however that most of us are saying that all started out well when we began vaping, no problems etc., with problems becoming apparent later. Ian, I think you - being much younger - can possibly make clearer assumptions when something isn't quite right. When you get on a bit - other problems get in the way to rather fog the issue a bit. Alongside the athsma, I am also suffering from hay-fever - which I have never suffered from before. So also wondering if that is vaping related, age related - or not? I think it is good that we share our 'side-effects' - at least it may help us all to pin down what may (or may not) be responsible. Please don't anyone tell me that it could possibly be caramel or coffee flavourings though!

Am putting in my two-penny-worth to add to the pondering. Firstly, the itching thing. I don't have that, but did, for reasons which have been identified via a hospital consultant. My skin condition began two years before me vaping. Similar to what is described above. In fact, mine began when I returned from Thailand. At that point I was getting a flare-up which looked like a bite, which itched, And I assumed I had imported something nasty via Thailand - a mozzy-type insect, albeit no-one else was getting 'bitten'.) But within days (probably with me rubbing and scratching the spot) these then flared up into circular dry itchy patches. These were on my hands, legs and feet. Few on my torso, none on my neck or face. Three visits to the GP to no avail, finally I was referred to a consultant at the hospital. The diagnosis (wait for it - and no rude comments allowed, 'specially form the Cluttery person) was 'Asteototic Eczema' - which if you Google, is 'senile eczema'! It is an age thing, that I now have under control with creams as and when necessary. But, my issue now, which I am sure is attached to vaping, is that I have had increasing chest congestion - and at times severe. One night I awoke barely able to breathe, and nearly phoned for an ambulance. I say that being someone who doesn't waste time or energy rushing to doctors. However, after several more similar bouts, I did finally visit my doc about three weeks ago. I told him that I had given up smoking a year ago - and mentioned that all my years of smoking rarely caused me chest problems. I didn't tell him about my vaping, albeit the last doc I had seen ought to have put that on my records - as I had told him. After a session of puffing into a gizmo he had, I was told that he suspected it was athsma, and that my ability to blow into his gizmo had shown to be poor. Apparently the number should have been circa 400, whilst my ability to 'blow' only reached 250. Of course this means little to me other than to say that something isn't right. I now have a puffer doo-dah - which does help if and when I get an attack. I also have a visit booked to the athsma clinic one week from now. I have Googled 'Athsma in aging people'! And that wasn't too helpful, as like the senile eczema, people of my age can also develop athsma from nowhere, with the medical experts having no idea why. However, I largely vape VG. But, in the light of what you are all saying, perhaps I should get on to James to see if he can supply a couple of weeks of PG for me to try that? Also, my main vaping flavours are: Paradise Vape L and B, which I doctor/mix with caramel and coffee. Not sure that helps anyone, but it is more info which hopefully gets us all eliminating or considering whether the vaping is responsible. As for the sleep issue, well, sadly, that also is something to expect with age - vaping or not! My sleep pattern/ability has been really bad for circa 15 years - long before vaping was invented. >

Thanks Roachie. I admit I hadn't appreciate that watching video thingies took up 'space' - but now I do. In a way I am glad it happened now, as I have managed to get a better package out of them for more or less the same money. I now have unlimited whatevers. Dead technical me!

Roachie and others - thanks a million. Finally got sorted - and I say 'finally'! Two hours - yes two hours - patched through to people in Delhi, Calcutta - all very lovely, but all singing from the same song-sheet, and not appreciating at all my issues. I am still not sure they have. I was streaming (?) watching the eagle and osprey web feeds for the past 4-5 weeks. I do admit to not appreciating that by doing so it was consuming my bandwith allowance. Novice, numpty, non-techie person here. But ....... once I had understood that - i.e. on 4th June, with a warning that I had already used up 75% of June's allowance - 4 Days???? What happened to May - where I had been streaming/watching both web-cams endlessly? Anyway, got on to them this morning - and as I say, nearly two hours being bounced around very lovely people out in India, but people unable to ascertain or explain why -as oof this morning - not having accessed the birds/video feeds for two days, my usgae today is 10.5! i.e. now over the 100% allowance. They just couldn't get what I was trying to tell (or better still - get them to understand my dilemma.) Having lived in the Far East for a while, where I wholly admired their ability to speak my language, with my skills being extremely poor when speaking theirs - I am extremely tolerant when dealing with off-shore call centres. But.............. I eventually began to loose it today, being passed from pillar to post, with people not having a clue what my issue really was. Eventually - by getting far more stroppy than I was happy to be - I got patched to a UK number/voice. Lo-and-behold: 'Totally understand, and we can upgrade your package - from 10 wotsits to unlimited usage for.......... for......... (wait for it) ......... the same price you are now paying!' Excuse me? ?? Wot-T-F? (and I don't usually swear) but in my head did so when I heard that. Thus I think I now have it sorted, but my blood is still boiling that it has taken so much of my time today to finally speak to someone who comprehended, and to achieve a satisfactory resolution. Off to take a look at the eagles - and I am going to be even more peed off it they flew the nest during my cyber abstinence! >
