I still think you're not keeping the Bauway 306 wet enough as they are quite a thirsty atomiser . . . the only way you'll know if a standard res will work better for you, is to try one I'm afraid. I am completely open to the idea that I don't know what I am doing ??? but I am getting this on the first hit with the hot spring when I am 99% sure it must be wet enough but not getting it at all with the standard spring after several hits. I will continue with the trial and error process, it's all part of the fun

I'd be inclined to leave yours to soak in a denture cleaning solution for a couple of hours, rinse it through with some boiling water a couple of times . . . and start again. That's what I do with mine, works a treat as well. Brilliant idea I'm going to try that. Can you use that for cleaning clearos also or is it not good for the plastic parts? (without the boiling water part of course!

I had a bit of a brainwave I took the hotspring out of my Mini Argento and replaced the original spring with a battery that isn't fully charged.... that seems to have got rid of the problem although flavour is very muted. I don't know the technical reason for this making a difference, but it seems to work. With the flavour so muted though it's far from ideal. I am wondering whether a SR atty with the hotspring will be better than the LR atty without.

Bridgeless is easier to change flavours..Less stuff to clean and marginally enhanced flavour.. Bridged can hold more juice and harder to clean and change flavours.. So if you are using them for taste testing, bridgeless. If you are a drip vaper, bridged. Bridgeless sounds like what I need then, can anyone recommend a make and source for bridgeless SR 306 atty's? I can only find LR Bauways.

Probably sense of smell is improving and juices are now tasting burnt for the OP on the LR 306. Try a SR 306 in theArgento for dripping and try to see if the flavour improves. If you want to use the LR Bauway, try a regulated 3.3 volt device like a Joyetech ego.. I don't think that's the case, it's not just a matter of flavour, it's almost a choking sensation between my nasal passage and throat. I am not aware of my sense of smell improving yet and I have a notoriously bad sense of smell... we had a gas week a couple of months ago, I would be dead by now if I had been in the house on my own, didn't smell a thing! The Argento and a collection of 808's is all I have, so nothing else to test the Atty on. I will go shopping though and try an SR 306. I would definitely be interested in hearing from anyone else using a Mini Argento for dripping though.

I tried dripping for flavours. I had the same problem. In my case I think probably just once I got a bit of liquid up and everything tasted bad after that even my usual ones and even in my vision. The next day i was fine. I am now tasting in any manner but dripping and tryng my best not to overfill or do anything that will cause that again. I definitely haven't had liquid in my mouth, but it sounds like you have experienced a similar thing, but worse! What other methods are you using to test your flavours?

Taks-until someone who gets this from their Bauway as well comes along and has an idea-coz I have never had it and have been using them for months-I would only put it down to only two things. A burnt atty or a running dry atty - but with seven drops in ??? Dunno. Well I guess it could have burnt from no topping up soon enough... I don't know how delicate atty's are or how quickly they burn out but I would have thought not that delicate if you dry burn to clean them (unless I misunderstand what dry burning is). So I am guessing if it's burnt it's dead? So far I have only rinsed it under hot water for cleaning, is there anything else I should do to try to revive it? I will be getting a replacement, but in the mean time if there's anything I could do to test it it's worth a try. Thanks for all the help Sandra

What's the difference between the bridged and bridgeless atty's? What are the advantages? I think I have burnt my first one so need to go shopping again... vape shopping is becoming a fulltime job, do we have personal shoppers around here?

Someone posted a guide on another forum which I followed... from dry, 7 drops 2 short bursts then 2 more drops - but I vary that depending on the bottle, some drops are bigger than others lol. Is that about right or am I way off?

Noooooooo lol
I am using a Bauway LR 306 atomiser for dripping. I also have a CE4+ SR which I am using on the same device without getting any burning taste - but I have only used 2 juices in that, and they weren't burnt when I first tested them on the Bauway atty either.

I don't have a spare atty, I only bought one since dripping doesn't appeal to me for general use, just for testing.
Juice thickness could be relevant since there are some brands which I don't usually get the burning taste with (Koko and Alba especially) and others which nearly always do (Paradise, MisterE). I don't see a major visible difference though, I don't think any of them are high in VG)

That's right... although I have just tested a few juices that have previously been fine and they taste burnt, so I am even more confused now! ???

Yes it is, I rinse it under hot water after a few different juices and leave it to dry.

Just checked and it is an LR Atty... but I am pretty sure that the CE4+ clearo I am using on it is SR and juices don't taste burnt on that (but I have only put juices that didn't taste burnt when dripping in it).

No, it's 3.7V, not variable.
