Thanks Chrissie. I was a bit shocked, especially as I'd got no reply to my email. I couldn't see how they could have done their "closer inspection and testing" before deciding "all of the batteries are in good working order" and still got it all back to me by return of post. Never encountered anything like that before.

Only just caught up with the latest answers here. Is Lisa from cloud9? Don't know why I didn't think of looking there!

Chrissie, I'm not sure what TECC are trying to boost but I think they are taking a short-term vew. They ignored my email asking for advice, so I returned the faulty items I'd bought - and received them back by return of post saying they had been tested and there was nothing wrong with them so they were sending them back! I thought maybe it was my fault so I charged the batteries again and they SEEMED to behave normally when charging (red then green light on charger etc) but I can puff until I'm blue in the face and they don't work. Most don't light up at all, a couple flicker feebly then go blank. The atomizers are as bad as my on-the-way-out old ones, I was knackered trying to use them! I have a feeling it's all previously-returned stuff they are unloading. By contrast, all the replacements I ordered from Liberty Flights and the things I've had from OKsmokey have been spot on. I've put it down to sad experience and dumped the lot, but I obviously would never buy anything from TECC again, nor advise anyone else to.

What brilliant customer service!!! I emailed LF to ask about this and had an immediate reply from Abe to tell me new stocks are expected.

After my TECC atties didn't work I ordered some more from Liberty Flights, I've been pleased with everything I've had from them. I noticed I was having the last pack of white 901 atties. Was going to stock up on 510 atties too but they are out of stock for the black ones. I'm ok for the moment but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are going to re-stock. I suppose I could change my colour schemes as a last resort, I'm such a stick-in- the-mud

Hanow, my dogs (Cairns) LOVE the hose! Whenever I try to water the garden they dive in. They love biting the stream of water, don't care how wet they get. Mind you they are totally mad inevery way, I spend half my life laughing at them.

Has anyone else had a problem with the half-price TECC spares? I bought a 5-pack of 901 batteries and another of 901 atomisers. I charged the first battery, got red light first then green light as usual, tried it and found it dead as a do-do. Tried a second and got exactly the same result. Then I tried the atomisers with my faithful LF batteries. I wrestled the cartridge on ( one I'd been using successfully with my other stuff, filled with James's lovely B&H juice - Hissie said they were a tight fit and she wasn't kidding!) took a big puff and got nothing! Tried another with the same result. I haven't got time to persevere with any more because the TECC multipacks only carry a 48-hour 'dead on arrival' guarantee so I need to return them pretty quickly. In my grumpy mood I wondered if that was why they were selling stuff off at half price, but then the post arrived with my 510 and the PCC for it, also bought in the half price sale, and they seem to be working fine.

Thanks Chrissie. I think you are right; it was a 901 PCC I was asking about, but my 510 kit and PCC arrived this morning, and I see that the action of closing the lid on that one makes a contact and switches it on, so they must be designed to stay on fully charged or not. I was afraid it could be 'overcharged' and burn the battery out.

For James or any other PCC owner (or anyone with a better brain than mine!) My PCC arrived yesterday, it's a neat little thing and seems to work really well. What I'm wondering is, if an ecig is charged and indicator light on box is green is it best to carry the ecig unscrewed? What I mean is can they get overcharged?

This place is brimming with clever ideas! And Scylla, I've just been taxing my brain wondering how I could keep my spare bits rattling around, I'll be off to do a bit of craft work shortly. PS The offers on TECC were too good to miss so I've just been spending an advance on next week's pocket money (or maybe we could just go without food this weekend, got to get our priorities right ) I decided to try the 510 while it's going at a good price. Then of course I needed a PCC for that one, not to mention spare parts ......

I'll post a pic of my beautiful boys just as soon as I figure out how. Hissie I'm just hoping the PCC works. I bought the one for the 901 on oksmokey, I'll let you know more when I get it and try it out.

Perp, is that your dog in the pic? He/she's gorgeous. I've got two little Cairns, totally mad but totally lovable.

Been busy stocking up this morning! Got packs of batteries and atties from TECC in the sale, a PCC and some liquid samples from oksmokey, and a little case to carry a single mini from cloud9. That's this week's pocket money, better start planning how to spend next week's!
