I'm very new to this, and wondered how you used vaping to give up analogs, or even if you still mix and match.
I've got a set of SkyCigs that I take to work, and still go outside for a puff through the day. I still smoke analogs as well, although I have cut down to just one or two at work and maybe eight or so during the rest of the day. So I'm now smoking 10 cigs a day, where I was smoking about 30 before. I've got the LavaTube at home and still experimenting with different combinations of juice delivery bits and pieces. I intend to slowly get rid of analogs altogether when I have found a combination that works for me.
Is this common? Or did you just switch over to Ecigs and stop analogs in one go? Did it take long to mentally switch over, was it a battle or did it come easy? I've battled with quitting a few times over the years, and am curios as to which method works for the majority.

A quick update: Mrs Bob decided that she didn't need all the girly stuff, as long as it didn't look like a light sabre. So I'm now £88.00 poorer, and will be awaiting the postman tomorrow morning. Hopefully a parcel from Vapeescape will arive and we can start to play. Eventually decided on the VE Vision 1000 Ultimate Stainless Steel, with a pile of Rainbow V3 bits and pieces, juice making kit and other goodies. Much less coughing going on now, maybe a bit of intolerance for the first few days. Still surprised at the difference between dripping directly onto the coil vs tank and clearamizers. Looking forward to lots of experimentation to find the "sweet spot" that many of you talk about. Still reading the immense wealth of information available on here, and very grateful for the help and warm welcome. You have a great community going

Thanks for the welcome guys, and the advice & links. I've got the plain black LT, and just filled a clearomizer for the first time. Spent ages trying to get the floppy little syringe thing to go in, before I realised I have to take a washer out first..doh. Thanks for the tip Chrissie - that does seem to help. Back to the hunt for coloured batteries then Bob

I'm a complete newcomer to Ecigs, and I am so glad I stumbled on to this place. What a great resource this forum is, a bit bewildering at first, but starting to understand some of it. After a few days research on here, got myself bit of kit to play with. Lavatube from Apollo, couple of tanks from a classified on here (thank you Des) , and a pile of small bottles from a few juice suppliers. I've been smoking pretty heavily for 40 years, roll ups for thirty or so of those years. Thought I had a pretty bombproof throat, so was surprised at how much coughing I seem to be doing. Especially the first drag, seems to trigger a reflex cough. Is this common? I've bought loads of high strength tobacco flavours and it looks like I will only tolerate the lower strengths. Have found some threads on diluting, so may give that a go. This afternoon, decided to experiment with the atomiser that came with the LT, dripping some of the flavours right onto the coil. What a difference, to my mind a much smoother vapour, and much less tendency to cough. so going to do a load of experimenting this week to see if I can find a combination that works, without the coughing. Still smoking cigs as well at the moment, but hoping to try a day on the ecigs only, if I can find a good combination. My wife is also interested, so off to try and find some "girly" coloured batteries and accessories, she thinks the Lavatube looks like a weapon from Star Wars and wouldn't touch it . Sorry for the long first post - Bob
