I was lucky enough to win a new cuboid in a raffle. Just updated the firmware and now enjoying some banana mustard in an aromamizer. Lovely

I use that mix as a stand alone, but also as a base for adding other flavours. TPA Blueberry at 2%, or 3% TPA Banana is lovely. Will try some other "sweet" fruits when I get some, apricot sounds good as would peach I suspect.

Genuine question here, have there been many occurrences of a regulated mod actually causing a fire or thermal runaway in the batteries, in normal use? We see lots of headlines about batteries, but, and I may be wrong here, they are usually either during inappropriate charging, or loose batteries in a pocket that then short.
I have a load of Efest Purples, because that's what I could get at the time. I still use them all, every day, more recently I stopped buying them & have switched to Sony & Samsung. In regulated mods I have never noticed a difference between them, they seem to work fine, don't get too hot, & I'm reluctant to throw them away until they stop working.
The press has been full of ecig scare stories related to batteries, but they are in many cases, battery scare stories, the ecig bit is incidental. Marketing claims & overhyping of performance is nothing new in any industry, new, new & even newer improved Daz springs to mind. The consumer decides.

I see history repeating itself here. Not that many years ago we had similar posts foretelling doom when the first 20 watt mods appeared. When a 1.1 ohm coil was considered pushing the boundaries & borderline dangerous to life & limb. This was quickly followed by the first 50 watt, then 100 watt mods, each step accompanied by a degree of hysteria & "why would anyone need that power" type comments. Sub ohm was something only done by very knowledgeable geeks on a mech mod, or nutters who were going to blow themselves up & give vaping a bad name.
For the moment, we are still a consumer led activity. That is, the market decides if a product is good or bad. If it's good we buy it & it thrives, if not it dies a quiet death. That's the whole point of innovation in disruptive technologies. I would much rather see the market make decisions, than have them made for us by government or other nannying organizations.
We would not have the fantastic range of devices available now, if we had listened to all the hysteria every time a new boundary was broken. So, provided safety isn't compromised, us consumers will determine if something is good or not & it needs to stay that way.

Zero Nic juice is unaffected by the TPD and to be honest, I think that is the way to go for suppliers to get around the 10ml bottle limit imposed on juices containing Nic, the main problem will be getting Nic in future as it will only be 10ml bottle of max 20mg - which means it will get a lot more expensive, and all those 10ml bottles are going to be a nightmare for landfill sites I think you will be able to buy, say 10 x 10ml bottles of juice in a shop, then immediately decant them into a container of your choice & give the 10ml bottles back to the shop. All without leaving the premises....

I run a small Facebook group over here on the Algarve. There are very few B&Ms or online stores in Portugal. The TPD is already in law here, although tbh it hasn't made any difference to anything yet. I set the group up to help convert some expat smokers & help them through the vaping journey. It's also a good place to find out about local vaping resources & helps keep people up to date on the latest advocacy news affecting vaping. We've managed to encourage quite a few people to give vaping a try and have a number of successful quitters. Plus - it's good fun

I'm a bit late to the party with these wires. I got a bit fed up with Ni200 & Ti, having to recoil so frequently was the main issue, so lost a bit of interest in TC & went back to Kanthal. Saw this thread and was inspired to have another go with some different wire. Drove an 80 mile round trip today to a little vape shop that had NIFe30, NiFe48 & SS 316l. So I have bought a bit of each, all at 0.40 mm.
Now I have to relearn all the TC stuff on the DNA200s, and also download the TCRs etc. It's like being back at school & I hope it's worth it:)

I tend to buy quite a few things from the UK & get it shipped here to Portugal. We just bought a couple of nice bikes before christmas. Way cheaper to buy in the UK & get them shipped. Much of my mixing concentrates also come from the UK, although they are becoming more common here, albeit very expensive.

I'm really enjoying the VTTV shows now they are back on the air. Twice a week, Mondays & Thursdays & 8:30pm for 90 mins. The shows are also put up on You Tube if you don't manage to catch them live. Usually something for everybody in each show, advocacy, interviews with movers & shakers, some reviews, latest news and some chat. Tonight's show has a feature from the Vaping Greek following a visit to China. Apparently some very interesting & encouraging goings on Usually have 100 plus viewers for each show, with a good sprinkling from AAEC. How about a Flash visit from AAEC members to tonight's show? we should be easily able to double the numbers & you might enjoy it & learn something new. Hopefully see some of you later in the chat box www.vapourtrails.tv/?page_id=41

I really like my DNA 200s, I've got an Efusion & a VT200. The VT200 developed a fault after a month or two of use, I sent it back & it was replaced, no further problems since & they are both used daily.
Really like them, but also looking forward to getting my RX200 which seems like a huge bargain if it does what everyone says.

This is the sort of situation where you need to meet up with an experienced vaper, or get advice from a "good" vendor that knows what they're doing. The choice of kit is now vast, and there will be something out there that will suit you down to the ground, the problem is finding it. You could spend a lot of time (& money) getting confused & frustrated with not having the right kit for you. It is a bit of a journey, some trial & error along the way, but please persevere, you've been off the fags for a while & are hopefully feeling the benefits. It took quite a few go's for me to quit the fags completely, much of the time was spent trying to finding the kit that suited me. When I did, it was easy, when I was faffing about and not getting a satisfactory replacement for fags it was really hard. Well done & don't give up on your vaping journey, the end game really is worth it

Are you managing to do much exercise as well? The FAST diet is great, adding a bit more exercise into the mix gives a great weight loss boost and makes you healthier, win win
