There used to be a tonne of cloned ego batteries, I can't remember which company produced it first but eventually there were joyetech and a few others producing the "authentic" one and loads producing a copy or their own version. There was alot of vivi nova clones too, some were pretty good and way cheaper than the expensive £10 original hehe. I think the first ecigs were basically a clone of Han Lik's companys one, there was some law suit eventually about it but I don't think much happened, maybe it wasnt patented at the time or some other confusion.

nice, yea i managed to make an order too, went through ok but got a message at first saying there may be a problem with the payment but after a few minutes it showed it processed fine, I noticed on ebay I think since they're not linked with paypal like before they've had a few of those issues sometimes where it says they'll email you if theres been a problem with the payment for whatever reason, most times it works but once I didn't notice that it didn't go through so had to go back and pay again after a bit lol Apparently they did a 20% off coupon some months ago so maybe they will again, but I don't think I can manage another multi order if they bring it next week hehe

Theres gonna be a coupon released I believe on ebays uk facebook page - you may have to click like on the page to see it, no idea but will try and post it here when its released The coupon is apparently for purchases from £20+ and the coupon will save maximum of £50 so you can get 20% off something for £250 but beyond that you only save £50 maximum on the purchase Also I think its mainly for buy it now items but I think it can be for multiple items together in the ebay shopping basket when paid together. Also I read it can be used just once today. www.facebook.com/eBay.co.ukI think its also for paypal purchases only too Hopefully ebay doesn't crash at 4 lol, also no clue if they'll expire the coupon after a while

The D2 is a new mini box mod from pioneer4u which goes up to 75 watts and does temp control with both nickel and titanium. Its a small, fairly lightweight mod almost as small as the istick 20s! It takes replaceable 18650 batteries however that can be changed out fairly easily with its clamshell design that slides off the mod and uses ball bearings and slide rails to keep it in place. The body of the mod seems quite solid and made of aluminium with black paint over, there were no gaps or rattling with the battery door, however if the door happens to fit loose over time you can take off the clamshell and bend it a bit in order to get it to sit better, however it has not come noticeably loose yet after opening the battery area many times. The buttons are quite nice to press, not extremely clicky but a slightly firmer press than some other mods. There was no button rattle too. The 510 is made of stainless steel and spring loaded, its not adjustable with a screwdriver even though you can see a screw head. Its nice and rounded in the hand too and is 78x24x40mm so an atty like the lemo thats 23mm sits quite flush with the body as well as your 22mm attys. The mod itself comes with a barrel connector for charging the device if you wanted to use the on board charging, so you would have to use the same kind of adaptor to charge and not a micro usb one. You can connect this to your pc or a wall plug though to charge. Theres also a silicon sleeve included with the mod, apparently some people have had the paintwork scratch easily so at least it comes with the sleeve although it would be better if the paint didn't have this problem. The mod does temp control with nickel and titanium wire but its possible too with stainless steel if you experiment with the temperature and joules settings for ni/ti. On this mod you can adjust the max temp and the joules from 10-50j, 10 joules is roughly equivalent to 10 watts etc. In temp control mode you can lock the resistance by holding + and - and it'll show the resistance and lock. Best to do that when the coil is cold as well as the atty or in room temperature. You can also lock the mod with + and power button, and unlock the same way. The mod displays the resistance and other values to 2 dp on the main screen. To enter the menu you can enter by clicking the fire button 5 times and it'll first say "SYSTEM OFF", if you then click left it'll display "System OFF" which means that option has been selected and after a few secs the display switches off meaning the mod is off. The other options when in the menu can be cycled through by pressing the fire button again after the initial 5 clicks. Theres Joule mode, Unit F, Temp, Coil Ni200, EXIT ON. At Joule Mode click left or right to go to Power Mode and vice versa, in Power mode the options to change the temp, celsius or fahrenheit and coil type disappears from the menu. You can select whether temp is displayed in celsius or fahrenheit as well as the coil type being ni or ti wire and then the temp can be changed there too. When you want to exit the menu theres a selection called "EXIT ON", click left or right to exit that to get to the main screen. Comparison with ipv miniSpecs:212-572f 100-300c 23x34x72mm hold +- to set resistance yihi chip: sx130h 7-75 watts 1x18650 10-50j in temp mode 3.6-7v in power mode 1-7v joule mode output current 1-25a input current 1.3a-30a standard res 0.2-3ohms temp mode res 0.05-3ohms small device similar size to istick 20,30,40, shorter than the koopor mini, slightly shorter than the kbox 175g with battery, 130g without Safety:low voltage protection, low resistance protection, high input voltage protection, output short circuit protection, reverse battery protection, temperature overheat protection, vent holes at the bottom Some issues:Theres the issue with the paint that some people have experienced, but luckily the silicon cover is included. Also some might find the lack of micro usb on the mod to be an issue but luckily it can still be charged with the included cable and batteries can be easily removed with the battery cover not getting scratched when removing it. Theres also another issue some might experience when trying to vape at lower watts which is no step down so the higher ohm coils may experience less of an issue, but theres a work around which is to go into temp mode even for kanthal and then lock your resistance and you can now adjust the watts by adjusting the joules settings. This seems to then work fine but it means the lowest setting is 10 joules equivalent to 10 watts or possibly just less. Theres no noticeable pulsing however at these lower settings. Conclusion:The D2 is a good 75 watt mod thats tiny and has a good chip inside it with the battery being easy to remove, its quite easy to move around the menu system too and its one of the smallest single battery mods thats powerful too. I don't think the items listed were clones or anything, guess you can always check with those authenticity stickers, it might even be easier to determine this from gb than ft, as ft apparently use middle distribution so the actual manufacturer doesnt know that ft had bought the authentics from them and alot of the time removed the actual serial so it can't be traced back to that distributor. Usually in the past with evod clones there had been some differences with the product and packaging too, same with vivi novas. Also a fair few clone tanks I went for didn't always have the full packaging. Its possible to have the same packaging as the authentic though, in fact some nautilus ones in the past looked identical, could have even been factory seconds or something. I think gb didn't understand what fakes meant or something as it seems really strange to just cancel straight away lol One thing is if you re order from china its good to split the order up or it could attract extra charges and if 1 item is out of stock it can hold up the whole order. Alot of the time the clones of anything like batteries, tanks are made slightly differently, like theres ways to spot the fake vtc's apparently. Even cloned kayfuns n drippers have some differences unless you get a high quality one that costs more.

Its an interesting choice for the first battery to arrive, it seems to have some good reviews on the comments underneath but not heard of this one before, I think the problem is the original ultrafire brand is copied everywhere and all kinds of batts get put instead including some really fake ones that are a tiny battery surrounded by sand that some people received on ebay!!
The iPV4s has also arrived at the EU warehouse too btw for $60.99

yea the amount of silica still being sent out with attys n blue screwdrivers is crazy lol those lavatubes were not bad really they handled the low volts nice with no pulsing, its crazy how after that theres still devices that dont do that! they might go up to 100s of watts but low watts they sometimes dont bother with too well! The biggest thing with vamos vs the lavatube was the ohms meter and variable wattage finally

I switched the plug from the supplied one with the istick 20 as it felt seriously hot when charging but others run much cooler drawing the same amps, the official samsung chargers seem good, maybe they use thicker wire or something in the plug, plus I got a non uk plug with the istick so it needed an adaptor on top of that, but the temperature it got too was bit crazy lol
