Hi Chrissie ... Have noticed recently that the 'buttons' on the left of threads are now all the same (apart from 'locked' etc.) There used to be a different one to signify popular threads (glowing or flaming if I remember), usually when it reached about 20 posts. It used to help in seeing what was current and worth looking at first... not that I don't look at the others  Is that a Proboards change? |

Although my eldest has told me that his vivid memory of me is smacking him with a wooden spatula  my two boys are everything to me. They have both returned so much (we've had our down times) but as of now, I'll happily leave this place knowing there are two good human beings left on this earth. Referring back to my post, he also played a video he took on his phone when his brother's wife watched the 'hospital' one. She was screaming and downright terrified... funny to watch, but having just watched a few seconds of it, I can understand the reaction. Where's this heading? ... I fear for the youngsters, who will get confused with 'real life' and VR... scary! Tomorrows World! Me no likey |

That's really spooky, because I was at my youngest sons last week, and he got me to try his (looks like the same gear) The first one was set in a hospital, with strange medics and nurses sneaking up from behind... I ripped it off within 30secs, I honestly didn't know where I was, totally disoriented.  He then showed me a dinosaur one which he assured me was less scary, but when it turned and came up to my face, I instinctively tried to hit it away. |

I have realised that this was 'probably' an inappropriate post, and am therefore 'banning' myself for a week... I just thought it was funny Don't, it's a free country and free forum mate, just because I won't darken the Mail's doors doesn't mean I expect others to do the same I just couldn't resist having a pop at them, not at you, lets raise a glass to each others health   No problem my friend  I've put a PostIt note on the monitor to remind me not to post after the fifth glass, although I usually lose count after the third. You'll realise by now that I've 'unbanned' myself. |
