I spend many an hour using Google's 'Street Map' rediscovering places around the country, previous homes, workplaces, roads, lanes with little places where I used to (censored) with old girlfriends. It is upsetting sometimes to see how they have changed, but it does bring back memories of how they were. Have just been looking at where I spent my teens, and the bungalow, just a few yards up the road, where the girl of my dreams 'didn't want to know'.
Get's me wondering what they're doing now... is she searching for me? Dream on!

Supply and demand, it's a simple equation I know, but I just can't understand the demand for 'crap'

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35502898Sod the fans, let's pay the players, agents & clubs even more and just keep all the money within the system. It's not as if many matches are entertaining, very few, just players running around like 'headless chicken' earning hundreds per stride... good work if you can get it. I know it's my favourite rant, but come on, it's getting ridiculous... and until the 'fans' vote with their feet it will continue, and they are the ones paying what many of them can't afford. Rant over... for now

... ePipeMods in the US where I get my ADV... Shire Malt, and to the US postal system, and yes, good old Royal Mail. Less than a week from order to my door, worked out far less than buying from their UK distributors. Hi What liquid is Shire Malt, never heard of it? There have been a few review threads on the forum, here is one... allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/14604/pipe-sauce-shire-malt?page=1&scrollTo=286372It reminds me of a pipe tobacco (hence their name as they sell ePipes ) It's warm, satisfying and really suits me, others may disagree. They also do others. If you want to try it, Liberty Flights do it in 10ml bottles, but I get the 30ml dropper bottles direct now. I realise they are not on the AAEC vendor list, but their site is epipemods.com/ (Mods, if not allowed then please amend)

In the name of science I've just carried out a ontrol experiment. I downed a bottle of 12 year old Glenfiddich followed by three cups of Aldi value coffee. I can confirm that I'm feeling......pished. It was the coffee, you just don't know what these discounters put in their products to make them so cheap

Happy days, seeing those lights flashing on the modem, and realising you're communicating with the rest of the world. I think Compuserve was my first serious 'messaging' service. Ive still got those flashing lights on mine Nope... I think you may have other problems Greg

Broadband is now considered an essential service along the lines of gas, water and electricity. Odd how things have changed in the last few years. I remember plugging in, my modem with and extension lead at 56kBeen with talktalk for many years now and not many problems really. Happy days, seeing those lights flashing on the modem, and realising you're communicating with the rest of the world. I think Compuserve was my first serious 'messaging' service.

Yep good ole BT again. To be fair their uptime is pretty reasonable, but their customer service is diabolical... the sooner they get it back from Asia, and hand it to a sweet talking Scottish or Geordie girl the better. I still can't access my account on their website after years of trying, I just gave up speaking to 'John' from 'who knows where' simply because we couldn't communicate. One thing that did worry me today was although I didn't intend to go online until tonight, the fact that I couldn't, really wound me up. Have we become so dependent on the web for everything?... and how easy it would be to create chaos if a 'core' cable or other connection was disabled by 'you know who'. I always find 'Norman' from the Philippines really helpful. Is that Norman or Norma In which case I could understand
