Yep good ole BT again. To be fair their uptime is pretty reasonable, but their customer service is diabolical... the sooner they get it back from Asia, and hand it to a sweet talking Scottish or Geordie girl the better. I still can't access my account on their website after years of trying, I just gave up speaking to 'John' from 'who knows where' simply because we couldn't communicate. One thing that did worry me today was although I didn't intend to go online until tonight, the fact that I couldn't, really wound me up. Have we become so dependent on the web for everything?... and how easy it would be to create chaos if a 'core' cable or other connection was disabled by 'you know who'.

Cheers sarin i will read that. The guy at the gym was technically right, when you deprive your body of food (energy) then it starts to use stored fat instead - this is the reason that crash diets work in the short term. However, when you stop, and all crash dieters stop after a while, the body rapidly replenishes it's fat supplies and the weight bulks back on. There is a reason that athletes eat little and often, normally 6 small meals a day. Ever see a fat professional athlete? Good luck with your regime lobeydosser and we are all different. I just eat when I'm hungry, and quite often go all day with just a sandwich. Normally I never eat anything before late afternoon, and never have breakfast, unless in a hotel where, if I've paid for it, I'll take it.

I think Mourinho will end up at Utd before long. You're probably right, but do they replace one 'tarnished' legend with another. Interesting times if you're a footie fan, which I'm not... just like the hysteria of it all.

Personally, I'm not that concerned as most top teams have their 'golden' spell. I've made this post really to acknowledge the absolute grace and professionalism that Manuel Pellegrini has dealt with the recent weeks and months of speculation on his future. Never seen an interview with him where he wasn't cool, and did not say one negative word about the club that was about to ditch him for 'flavour of the month'. Unlike so many other managers. I'm sure he'll be an asset to any other top club and won't be out of work for long. As for 'Pep', we shall see, it'll be interesting to say the least. But, as Jose Mourinho has found out, you can't live on your reputation forever... you have to keep delivering. I bet the United fans are spitting feathers.

Bobsbeer Oh, bl**dy hell... this is getting ridiculous... or is it that as we all get older, the names we grew to know so well are getting even older. It doesn't make it any easier, but it is a timely reminder for us all to make life as good as we can for those around us... time is running out for all of us. On that 'happy' note... RIP Terry... RIP Frank... and can we have a few months of good news now please!

Don't feel too sorry for Andy... he's got his hotel in Scotland, a really gorgeous wife and soon to be child, mega bucks from his sport... so losing in the final is a small price to pay for what many of us would class a very successful life. OK... I'm sure it stings a bit and at least he is becoming more likeable.

I wasn't his biggest fan, but I did like his TV chat show and Radio 2 show, and he was part of our lives for so long.
Wasn't it only last year he made the TV show with the London cabbie, touring the country in the taxi... I enjoyed that also.
Like the others recently who have passed, the shock comes from us not realising that they were seriously ill. RIP.

Listen... my ZX483 doesn't fit into my RZ213 when running at 59mHz. I've tried to reduce supply by 50% but I still get flames out of the back axle. Should I go to KwikFit and let them have a look or just get a new part on eFlea? Anyone else feeling a little left out of this conversation
